What can I say? It does what you expect a peg winder to do. They're made of inexpensive plastic and may break easily so buy two or three so you have several around. One on your bench, one in your gig bag and a spare. The more expensive ones are nice to have but this one gets the job done and for a couple of bucks I don't care if I lose one or give one away. That's the whole reason for having several.

Hey, they're inexpensive enough that you don't cry if it gets lost or broken. I've never had one fall apart, but even if I had... so what? I just bought several more with a batch of "accessories." There's one in each of my guitar cases along with an extra set of strings.That runs from a solidbody to a semi, a couple of jazz boxes and several AEs including a nylon string guitar.
Yeah, I have a "better" one at home that supposedly even cuts strings, but I use a side cutter instead for a full string change. For the occasional broken string on a gig - which hasn't happened to me in around 37 years - it's plenty; then you can change the whole set at home afterwards.
Again, to me the attraction is that it's inexpensive enough to put into every guitar case and is no big deal if it's lost, broken or tossed to another picker on a gig or practice who doesn't return it.

Poor construction makes it basically useless may as well save your money and get a planet waves or similar product. I got 5 sting changes out of it the handle broke and bridge pin puller won't pull out pegs any more cheap plastic stretches every time and pulls over peg. making it a useless product.

They may as well mark this item "disposable". Used a few times before handle came off. Ribbed peg holds handle onto head, but weak plastic-on-plastic design pulls apart with moderate lateral pressure. Put back together numberous times but eventually stripped and now useless.

Every time I use it the screw comes undone or overtightens. By the time I mess with it I might as well have done it by hand.

I used this at my teacher's place, when i was putting new strings on my Dean EVO/XM Christmas eve after breaking a string tuning.Put DR/10's on it.Sounds better the string winder is so fast and easy to use.Took me less than 5 minutes to put the strings on.This thing is great a must have go buy one.I am

I bought one of these about 2 years ago, from my local music store, and it works alright the major problem is that the screw that holds the head to the handle come out when you are taking strings off the screw unscrews itself and when i put strings on the handle tightens up and i have to let it spin in my hand.
