These are the standard when it comes to guitar picks. If you walk into a music store to try out a guitar and you ask one of the guys for a pick you can borrow, he'll probably hand you one of these. Just one thing to think about when buying these picks--they bend easily, and tend to feel a little thinner than they really are. For example, the 1mm feels more like a .88mm.
They are Nylon Standards, so there's nothing unique about them. However, I do like the logo that's stamped on because it sort of serves as a grip itself. Without it, this pick would slide right out of your hand.
Nice and consistent, but they aren't as resilient as other picks. They take a little longer to find their shape again. They have a rounded edge, which is good, but it isn't smoothed out so the edges can be a little sharp and abrasive.
The price is a little high for Nylon Standards. No special features that set them apart from other picks, but they're still great picks, even for the price.

When I began using these, they were great until I noticed that they bend and stay bend one way. Even the .73 one bends. They straighten up when cooled. I just switched to plane wave's .61 orange plastic pick and it doesn't bend as much and I get much better tone from this pick. I didn't realized how much these nylon picks rob the tone until I tried different picks.

I love the nylon's resistance to wear and grippiness but that's all they're good for. Also the texture on the pick drags the strings sometimes and then the pick comes off your hand.

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Standard Guitar Pick:

Bought super thin for rhythm work on 9 gauge and nylon. Works well, but as you would expect they are difficult to hold onto...especially since I come from 50 years of using the large Fender triangle picks - thought I would try something different for strumming my strings softly...they work, don't break, do wear down easily but that is to be expected of the white super thin.38 versions. have stiffer ones in the mail to me right now.

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Standard Guitar Pick:

I use these for playing chords to help with flow..they are too thin for picking or hard rock stuff..i have always tried to make learning and/or practicing as easy on the hands/wrists as possible...so thin picks and super slinky strings all the way.

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Standard Guitar Pick:

My daughter is learning the guitar and after trying one of these from my little box of junk won't play with anything else. As for me, I like to crank the amp and then use the .38 to just barely touch the strings. No other pick does this as well - and then I'm open for a heavy volume power chord when I need it. Also with a little chorus on, the .38 almost makes a 6 string sound like a 12 on faster passages.

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Standard Guitar Pick:

I like the pic because of the texture on the body of the pic. This adds grip. When I play for a while under the lights I sweat a little bit and my hands get moist. The texture on the pic allows me to hold on through it all. Now when I say "texture", I mean the wording that is printed on the sides. That is what gives the texture - and that is the main benefit for this pic. Now you can pick whatever thickness you want - which is a great benefit.

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Standard Guitar Pick:

I've been using Dunlop nylon picks since the late 70's . They last forever and the only reason I ever bought more was because I lost them. I used the same 3 picks for 5 yrs once.
I have slowly gone down in thickness from 1mm to .088 to the .073
I break fewer strings with the .073s and they are still stiff enough to tremolo pick or chug with. I will never buy any other type of pick, see no reason to.

I don't know why anyone would be any other line of pick. These are practically indestructible, and probably the easiest pick to hold on to that there is.

I like a flexible pick, one that gives a little while I strum. I usually buy the .60's or .73's. THey bend but don't break, and I have never dropped one while playing, or even had that awful 'oh man, I'm going to lose this pick' feeling mid-song. The only way you're likely to lose these are when your friends borrow one and never give it back because they like it so much.

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Standard Guitar Pick:

When I began using these, they were great until I noticed that they bend and stay bend one way. Even the .73 one bends. They straighten up when cooled. I just switched to plane wave's .61 orange plastic pick and it doesn't bend as much and I get much better tone from this pick. I didn't realized how much these nylon picks rob the tone until I tried different picks.

I love the nylon's resistance to wear and grippiness but that's all they're good for. Also the texture on the pick drags the strings sometimes and then the pick comes off your hand.

PLaying speed metal I tended to "saw" plastic picks in half and break strings. The .38 nylons last a long time, don't break strings, and the the stippled top provides good friction so they don't jump out of my sweaty booger diggers.

These picks work great! I use them on both electric guitar and acoustic guitar playing many different genres of music. They hold up well no matter the playing conditions. I prefer the .60's or the .73's. I have been using them for 7 years and they have always had consistent quality.

I got the .60mm and they're the best picks I found for strumming on electric guitar. I also got the .46mm but they are thinner and perhaps best for acustic guitar. These dunlop nylon picks are even better than planetwave's .50mm or dunlop's tortex .50mm picks. I think these will become my standard from now on.

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Standard Guitar Pick:

I started using these dunlop picks in the '80's, mostly because the fender-style picks I had been using would chip and break, sometimes three or four per gig. The nylons are just as usable, whether you use the tip, the side or the back of the pick. And since they never break, you get tons of milage out of each one. I use .60 for electric guitar and .73 for acoustic guitar.

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Standard Guitar Pick:

I love these nylon picks. The .88's are perfect for both picking and strumming and they last until you lose them. I might eventually try out the 1 mm's for picking or the .73's for softer attack but the .88's are a great middle ground: plenty flexy for strumming once they've been broken in but still great for picking. On a side note, nylon picks sound magical with nylon stringed instruments.

                                      Overall they are great!
My son introduced these pick to me a few years back and I've been using them ever since. Especially the .38mm version - they are really awesome. Some friends of mine didn't care for them as they are quite thin, but what do they know! They are great for strumming - I don't think they can be beat. They last a very long time as well, I usually have to throw them away because they're dirty or worn out as opposed to having them bust off like most picks eventually do. I have only recently tried the .46mm thickness and they seem to be great too, though I don't have a lot of time experimenting with thoseyet. My recommendation is to at least give them a try and have an open mind about the "thinness" of them. If nothing else they work superior for certain playing methods.
