I've had mine so long, I can't remember when I bought it - 20-30 years ago. It's very easy to change frets, and it works for just about any guitar - thin or thick neck, round or flat fingerboard. I have used mine on a wide variety of guitars. I think I will stick to this capo - getting another one so I'll always have a backup and won't have to switch it from one guitar to another when performing.

They're discreet. They clamp down tight with even pressure across all six strings. Easy to set once you're used to it. I leave mine on the guitar all the time, You can clamp it above the nut when your not using it and slide it down when you want it. I used mine for 20 yrs before the dog ate it. Now I'm getting a new one.

Comments about Dunlop Pickers Pal Capo:

I'm over all pleased with this capo. The pad keeps coming off the back and the glue used to hold it does not hold it in place under pressure. So I'll have to end up finding a better adhesive. Otherwise, it works great and it's easy to to change the location quickly between songs.

Comments about Dunlop Pickers Pal Capo:

Just save for a better capo and you'll actually be able to use it for multiple times.
It works. for the first 5 - 10 times.
It'll break after short use. The little rubber thing will come off the plastic and the felt will also come off, leaving glue on your neck to clean up.
                It's cheap so...

                Decent if stayed intacted

Comments about Dunlop Pickers Pal Capo:

i've used this capo 10 times but then noticed it wouldnt lock down anymore because of a piece of foam rubber that fell off that sits up against the back of the neck , i'm still trying to find the piece of rubber so i can glue it back on, not a bad capo if it just stayed together , this happened at a gig and caused me to cancel a song I use the capo on , I suggest if you buy this , make sure you keep it in a plastic bag so you wont lose the part like i did, beside that , it works good and is very discreet as far as looks , dont care for bulky capos hanging off the side of the neck , but this one is very unoticable , which is good , I would recommend this product.......

                Must have guitar accessory

                By travisrd

                from Arizona

Comments about Dunlop Pickers Pal Capo:

I first bought one in the early '80s (they've been around quite a while), and still use it. Best capo out there for guitars with oversize frets. The cam lever lets you adjust how hard it presses against the strings, and will prevent the strings from going out of tune high. The top bar has a rubber piece with four sides - low and high curved, low and high flat - use high for thinner necks, low for thicker - use curved for most acoustic and electric, flat for classicals. They aren't a quick as a Kyser, but you can get pretty quick installing them.

                Pickers Pal Capo

                By Soul Brother

                from Georgia

Comments about Dunlop Pickers Pal Capo:

I like this design for a couple of reasons. First, it stays on the neck all the time. You just slide it up to the fret you want to capo and clamp it. One hand. If you're not using it, slide it back behind the nut. Second, it doesn't stretch the strings causing tuning problems. You can choose the amount of clamping pressure. One problem, it won't work on some guitars. Such as Martins that have a diamond volute. Great product!

Comments about Dunlop Pickers Pal Capo:

This is perhaps the most versatile capo I have used, but it takes some getting used to if you are used to the quick-change spring-loaded capos. Fits any guitar neck and fretboard curve.

Best 2nd capo, fits all your guitars from classical to electric, any curve. Easy to use but not quick like a spring capo. Been carrying one for 25 years.
