I'm on my second set. I did find the .007s too light, but that may be from coming off .010s.
At any rate.. the first set lasted until string change time, which was actually quite long.. about three months.
I bend a lot all over the place, never lost a string.
your guitar will do better with these IF you get the tuning stable first, and stretching the strings, mounting them.. all of that matters a tick more with the lighter guages.

Tonally I am happy.. readjustment to the pedals and amps did not cause conflict with my .009 or .010 sets guitars and ACDC to ZZ I'm quite satisfied.

I like them quite a bit.. and though I'm also an Everly Strings fan, I'm sure I'll be having the argument and enjoying both brands for a long long time.

It behooves me to say. fatter strings may have more tone.. or not! not every string is for everyone. these are worth a shot anyday!

I bought these strings because of all the positive feed back. I wanted to put .008s on my Stratocaster. I wasn't satisfied with the gauges of these strings. The feel was off for me. Also the intonation went crazy! My Telecaster seems to work great with .008s, but the Stratocaster, not so much. Maybe that's why I couldn't find Fender Bullets in .008. I'm going back to Fender Bullets.009 for the Stratocaster and I ordered Ernie Ball Extra Slinky .008 for the Telecaster.

Comments about Dunlop Reverend Willy's Electric Guitar String Set - Light:

These strings make playing much easier. I just ordered a few more sets because the bulk packs of Rogue strings don't have a few of the string sizes these have. I'll be converting all my guitars to the 8-10-12 sizes on the high strings, but may have to stay with the same lower end as regular 9 sets (24-32-42).

Comments about Dunlop Reverend Willy's Electric Guitar String Set - Light:

I play a lot of classic rock style guitar, and these strings have great tone and feel. They work great for lead playing, and the lighter feel with a loud dynamic response encourages that. Definitely can get the ideal Billy Gibbons pinch harmonics going with these!

Comments about Dunlop Reverend Willy's Electric Guitar String Set - Light:

Let me start out by saying that these are terrific strings. The tone and the clarity is better than the strings I have used in the past. I tried the eights Because like the Rev. Willy says "Why are you working so hard", referring to a heavier gauge strings. I have ordered 2 more sets of these strings but moved up to the 10's . I have always used heavier strings and play hard. I love the feel and tone of these strings so I believe the 10's will be better for my style of play. I will try to ween myself down from there a little at a time back to the 8's or dare I say it the7's. Great product! I would recommend these strings.

Comments about Dunlop Reverend Willy's Electric Guitar String Set - Light:

the only other strings I've found that compare are the D'Addario XL Half Rounds, but the lightest of those are 8's. The 7's are like gossamer; I've been half afraid of breaking one, but that hasn't happened yet. On Dunlop's video for these strings, Billy Gibbons mentions he hasn't broken one yet.

Great strings. I love the ease of bending a minor 3rd. If you are new to 8 gauge strings you will have to lighten your touch. If you use the same finger pressure as 9's or 10's, you will find the 8's sound out of tune. I will be ordering more of these strings.

If you have multiple guitars,it's always nice to have at least one of them strung with super light strings just for the variety of playing style it brings out.

I had to get a replacement .007 for the 1st string, upon winding it snapped before I could get it to standard. TOTALLY understandable! These are more like wire then string. Musician's Friend stepped up and took care of me by sending a new pack. Thank you to them and YES buy these strings, they are as good as any and at a good price.
