    The Suppressor vs. Screeching Halt

    Comments about Dunlop The Suppressor Pro Sound Hole Cover 9-Hole:

    The Screeching Halt is lighter and more flexible since it is entirely made of rubber. I ended up putting a strip of light adhesive felt around the perimeter of both because my guitar's sound hole is about 1/8" wider than the 4" these were designed for. Since the Screeching Halt is flexible, putting it in and taking it out is a bit easier. I recommend the Screeching Halt.
    The Suppressor and the Screeching Halt both mute the acoustic tone of my dreadnought about the same and both make it bullet proof to feedback at high volumes.
    Both are made well.
    I don't find the Suppressor Pro more attractive or different in performance compared to the cheaper Screeching Halt.
