I have been using these smaller Tortex picks for better than 15 years. They are excellent for the size, shape, texture, and flexibility. When I use alternate picking techniques I appreciate how these picks get me close to the strings and find standard size picks too large to be comfortable. If you are accustomed to standard sized picks these may require an adjustment period but I'm willing to bet you will be pleased with the outcome. The smaller size and close proximity to the strings also facilitates improved pinch harmonic techniques for me. I have no plans to use any other picks. Thanks Dunlop!

I like these little green picks. If I have a choice, they are the picks I grab first. They are pretty good for strumming, great for single note work. I use them for both acoustic and electric guitar.
I like the green ones. I find the purple ones to be a little too stiff and the red ones not stiff enough.
I was very glad to find these available online. My supply was getting smaller and these are all but impossible to find in music stores.

Comments about Dunlop Tortex Jazz Guitar Pick:
Love these picks. They feel great and are fast. Picks are obviously preferential, but for me, these are it. Ironically I can't get into the Jazz III picks at all, but these feel amazing.

Comments about Dunlop Tortex Jazz Guitar Pick:
I love a jazz cut/size pick. I have used the tortex (twiddly wings) are my favorite. I like the purple (heavy) in this collect more than the same black ones (different product ID), because I can find them easier. Otherwise they are the same. The softer plastic 'Jazz III' are goo too, but these are a better vaue

Comments about Dunlop Tortex Jazz Guitar Pick:
Dunlop Tortex Jazz picks are the best. I've used the purple ones for years for electric playing. I wanted to try something a little more flexible for acoustic strumming, so I bought the green ones. My only complaint is that I will have to try the red picks for my acoustic, because the green is still pretty stiff. A little give, but not much. Will still work great for electric. Best picks made regardless.

Comments about Dunlop Tortex Jazz Guitar Pick:
I began using these about a year and half ago after using standard picks for 30+ years. I can't believe I had been missing out for so long. When I'm in a guitar store and I have to borrow a standard pick, it's just awkward for me now - they're just that efficient - so I usually stash a few in my wallet for J.I.C.
After surviving the 80's as a heavy metal player, I've gone back to my blues, rockabilly, and jazz roots. These picks are great for all styles - easy to hybrid pick and tap with too because it's easier to tuck away.
Try 'em, you'll switch too

Comments about Dunlop Tortex Jazz Guitar Pick:
If you are used to the Purple tortex for electric, these are the perfect complement for playing your acoustic. The size is the same, but the thin versions sound better on acoustic.

Comments about Dunlop Tortex Jazz Guitar Pick:
I have been going through picks for years now, being hopeful about many different picks, but eventually being let down by them all. I love the feel and sound of a standard dunlop tortex, but the large size can make it clumsy and awkward when my playing gets faster. This pick is a perfectly sized to be more compact and controllable, but it doesn't sacrifice the great tone and feel of a standard tortex or other larger dunlops. I think I will be sticking with this pick for a long while to come.
Comments about Dunlop Tortex Jazz Guitar Pick:
incredible picks! thanks Jim Dunlop! :-)
they stay in your hands and dont get slippery. they have a very nice tip. very controlable. i used to use nylon jazz III's but these dont get rough edges. and you can do pick scrapes with tortex, you really cant with nylon.
very high quality. smooth tip. they glide over the strings and have awsome release. perfect for heavy rythym guitar tones and shreding, because they are so controlable
awsome value.

Comments about Dunlop Tortex Jazz Guitar Pick:
i think this is a great pick and i deffinately reccomend it.
its small, fits between my fingers perfectly, i find it easier to do squealies (pinch harmonics) with this pick.
i've had mine for about 5 months now and its in the same condition as it was when i got it, although the logo of the band that i got it from and the brand has worn off.
