Fantastic stand. But I've chosen to place the dogbone in the accessory clamp instead of on the available arm because the dogbone is too long and the cymbals sit way too high. But that's just me, other drummers may find it perfect. I like my cymbals about a foot above my toms. The quality is amazing as is the appearance.

Comments about DW 9999 Heavy-Duty Single Tom and Cymbal Stand:

I have 3 of these to hold 4 dog bones and 2 toms for my DW Collectors kit. I wanted the best of the best for my dream kit, no fooling around here! I also wanted to lesson the amount of stands I used to have to hull around and set up. 2 stands hold 2 cymbals and 2 cymbals, the third one holds my ride and china crash! Looks slick and expensive and built like a tank. You have mess around a bit to get things where you want them but once you have everything in place and memory locked in your set for good! The down side is these are heavy and your band members wont want to help you move them especially when stairs are involved. If your a weakling these will wear you out before you start your gig. If your set up is staying at home , these stands are a bit of an over kill and pricey but dang are they NICE!

Comments about DW 9999 Heavy-Duty Single Tom and Cymbal Stand:

The DW 9999 tom and cymbal stand does exactly what you want it to with respect to placement of both items. Very solid but just be careful with the black locking arm as previous reviews say it will strip. For me, it is working just wonderfully.

Comments about DW 9999 Heavy-Duty Single Tom and Cymbal Stand:

I ordered one of these hoping for faster set up and tear down. it is quick once you figure out your perfect setting and get it locked in. Fits with my hardware in a skb X1 no problem. I use all dw hardware. Its pricey but worth it I guess if you are wanting less hardware and quick set up

Comments about DW 9999 Heavy-Duty Single Tom and Cymbal Stand:

I have this stand and I use it on every gig I play at. (And that's many each year). I never had a problem with it after all the set-ups and teardowns that I've done. Easy to adjust, and stays there once you get it to where you want it. Very versatile, if you can't get it to where you want it, it's your own fault.

Comments about DW 9999 Heavy-Duty Single Tom and Cymbal Stand:

This stand is really heavy duty, and that makes it good to have, but it's really hard to get it the way you like it, and the dog bone can be very inconvenient when you are trying to get your cymbal at a certain height or angle. It's a little bit overrated.

Strongest stand you will ever buy

Comments about DW 9999 Heavy-Duty Single Tom and Cymbal Stand:

This stand is the tank of tom/cymbal stands. I haven't seen anything better and i've been in the drum scene for 5 years. The only problem is that it is costly... but i'm positive it will never break down on you.

Comments about DW 9999 Heavy-Duty Single Tom and Cymbal Stand:

Best stand I have ever owned. The DogBone cymbal arm at the top is a little tricky to get it to move vertical but its a great stand, once again, best I've ever had.
