OVERVIEW

Defeat gunk!

Gauges 10-14-24-34.

Elixirs are the first major innovation in strings in over 40 years, and deliver what they promise: great tone and long life no matter what you put them on or how often you play.

Elixir Mandolin Strings are covered with an ultrathin, space-age polymer tube that contacts the string on the tops of the windings only. They're coated with the patented Nanoweb technology. This leaves the all-important winding-to-winding-to-core space free from the enemies of tone!

Most players report that Elixir Strings keep sounding great 3 to 5 times longer than ordinary strings.

Comments about Elixir Light Nanoweb Mandolin Strings:

I have been using these strings for the past few years and recently got talked into trying another coated brand. Thet were horrible. I played them for about 15 minutes and replaced them with my last set of Elixirs. Won't switch again.

I use the mando in multiple bands and tour nationally. These strings last a long time and maintain tone. Highly recommended.

Comments about Elixir Light Nanoweb Mandolin Strings:

Elixir strings are my favorites for both mandolin and guitar. My fingers glide easily on the strings, and the strings seem to be easier on the finger tips than others. The sound is great, and I've never had an Elixir string break.

Comments about Elixir Light Nanoweb Mandolin Strings:

Just got some of these for my Ibanez, thought I may as well give them a try. I was pleasantly suprised at how drastically better they were from the strings I had used before. I would recommend these strings to anybody.

            Great Strings for Certain Mandolin

            By

            from South Carolina

Comments about Elixir Light Nanoweb Mandolin Strings:

I have an inexpensive no-name A-style mandolin and an F-style Michale Kelly. After buying the MK, I bought about 15 different strings from here (great value and unbeatable variety). The Elixir strings did not sound good on the MK, but made my no-name come alive.

            Good idea for the mandolin

            By

            from Plano, TX

Comments about Elixir Light Nanoweb Mandolin Strings:

Other strings that I've used don't last very long on my mandolin. The elixir mando strings stay bright sounding longer than others.

They should think about making them with ball end too.
