Combat string grunge!

Gauges 10-13-17-26-36-46.

Elixir Electric Guitar Strings are covered with an ultrathin, space age polymer tube that contacts the string on the tops of the windings only. This leaves the all-important winding-to-winding-to-core space free from the fear of the enemies of tone! No more gunk and goo. No more DNA evidence. No kidding.

In addition to an ultrathin grunge-resistant tubular coating on the wound strings, Polywebs now have a revolutionary Anti-Rust plating on the plain strings to extend their life too.

Elixirs are the first major innovation in guitar strings in over 40 years, and deliver what they promise: great tone and long life no matter what you put them on or how often you play.

Tired of restringing all the time? Give Elixirs a try today!

I have tried several types of strings from Dean Markley, Dr strings, to fender. the elixir polyweb .10-.046 absolutley rock!!! when i play i don't get the slide sound..the strings sound faniminal. They are a little pricey but then again you get what you pay for. Don't belive me? Try some fender strings, or Dean Markley..i am not longer afraid that i wil cut my pinkey finger off on the high E.. With Elixir strings i can go up and down the neck all day and not worry about anything. I highley reccomend these.
Simply the best strings you can buy
Could be a little cheaper but not to bad if you buy in bulk

Wow the long term good sound, the smooth feel of the strings, the.... Awww dangit I broke one. See.. would you rather break and have to replace a 14 dollar string... or a 3 dollar string?Buy cheaper strings in bulk and youll find that about 12 packs of EB Slinky's will equal 3 of Elixer. And with cheaper strings you dont have to pray that string wont break when your in the zone. And ALSO! The sound quality of EB Strings vs Elixers is pretty darn close. In conclusion, all you hard rockers out there and all you acid fingered people, these aint your bag.

These are truly the only coated strings that are worth your time. Excellent tone, lasts a long time. What more can you ask. The Polywebs only, not the Nanowebs.

      Neat

Comments about Elixir Light Polyweb Electric Guitar Strings:

These strings are pretty cool. Definitely a different feel from any other strings I've tried. Too soon to really tell whether I'll continue to enjoy them or not, but as of now, I think they're gonna be pretty nice.

      Elixir's

      By wchases

Comments about Elixir Light Polyweb Electric Guitar Strings:

The poly-web Elixir's are great strings. I use the on both my acustic and eletric guitars. The last ones I put on my acustic lasted about five months. I play Ibanez guitars and these stings give me great tone for all types of music I play. They are definatly worth the money.

Comments about Elixir Light Polyweb Electric Guitar Strings:

these string are the way better than ernie ball the low e string is the hardest to break and i broke one just putting one my guitar they are even more cheaply made then exilirs hands down havent had to replace a high e string since i replaced my strings with elixirs and that was almost a year ago and they sound the same as the day i put them on my guitar.

These are the best strings you can buy.

Comments about Elixir Light Polyweb Electric Guitar Strings:

I put my first set of Elixirs on my guitar about 9 months ago, and only two days ago did one of them break. Even then, the strings still remained spotless and slick despite about 1-2 hours of playing per day. The tone isn't as bright as some others, but that can easily be remedied by turning up the treble on the amp or playing closer to the bridge. If you are considering these strings, don't hesitate--just buy. They may be twice the price as the other strings, but they literally last ten times as long.

      The Best

      By Wigeon1187

Comments about Elixir Light Polyweb Electric Guitar Strings:

These have to be the best to handle my playing and I've never broke one. The coating makes your fingers slide with little friction. The tone is excellent. Just try them, you will see & hear the difference.

      Don't bother

      By Anonymous

      from Undisclosed

Comments about Elixir Light Polyweb Electric Guitar Strings:

These strings don't sound as good as the Ernie Ball strings. They also broke 2 weeks after I put them on. They didn't last long enough for me to compare the drop in tone over time playing. Don't bother buying elixirs because for 1 set of elixirs you could buy 3 sets of Ernie Ball strings. 1 set of Ernie Ball strings will at least last 1 month.
