Comments about Elixir Light Top/Heavy Bottom Nanoweb Electric Guitar Strings:
I got my first electric guitar 6 months ago and it sounded okay. But when I put the elixir strings on it sounded like a totally different guitar. The sound was so much better and it also stayed in Tune longer. The thick bottom strings give a real heavy sound while the the thin top strings make it easy to bend. If I knew how good these strings were. I would have bought them sooner.

Comments about Elixir Light Top/Heavy Bottom Nanoweb Electric Guitar Strings:
The tone is great. Love the deeper sounds from the heavier bottom strings. These strings last forever. The last set was on my guitar for almost a year and still sounded pretty good.

Just got these in and put them on my Gibson CS336. I don't know what to say, but WOW! I was concerned about the heavy bottoms not fitting in the Faber ABR1 bridge slots, but I did not need any filing...They fit perfect and I now have the low end I have been craving for. What a punchy sound. Its like a whole new guitar. What tone. I will never use any other string or gauge than these Elixir 10-52s.
Comments about Elixir Light Top/Heavy Bottom Nanoweb Electric Guitar Strings:
I've searched long and hard for good strings. I used to use Fenders, then I went to Ernie Ball, and then D'Addarios. A Friend recommended Elixirs and another recommended .010-.052 gauge, so I killed two birds with one stone and bought both. These things are great. Just amazing. I put them on and this Telecaster that I have makes me sound like Don Rich. Great tone to start out with that I could never achieve with any other brand. But it gets even better! I've had these strings on for two and a half months so far and they still sound like I just got done putting them on. I play upward of 3 or 4 hours a day, and these things have performed spectacularly. On a side note, people often complain about the nanowebbing fraying where to pick the strings. This does happen, however, it doesn't affect the tone or functionality of the strings at all.A great buy that more than pays for itself.
Comments about Elixir Light Top/Heavy Bottom Nanoweb Electric Guitar Strings:
If you ask me, I believe that Elixer strings in Skinny top Heavy bottom gauge is bound to last much longer than Ernie ball strings (even though they say Ernie ball is the king of strings). Maybe on second thought, you can never go wrong with Elixer strings.
Comments about Elixir Light Top/Heavy Bottom Nanoweb Electric Guitar Strings:
I've been using theses strings for 6 months now on my main electric. I play anywhere from about 2-6 hours a day and one set lasted about 3 months and just started showing wear. I have Floyd Roses on my guitars with that in mind strings are a real pain to change, I now don't mind because when I do change strings I know it'll be a good while before I have to again. If you want some quality long lasting strings go for these they are pretty awesome!
Comments about Elixir Light Top/Heavy Bottom Nanoweb Electric Guitar Strings:
I have these on my Dean Caddy and My Gibson USA Explorer. First, I'm a bassist, but play drums and lead guitar on my brothers' recordings. I don't play a lot of lead work or bend much on the lower strings. My rhythms sound nice and chunky with these strings, without EQ-ing. Also these last many times longer than other strings, making them well worth the price. I also use Elixirs on my bass. Best strings by a longshot IMHO.
Comments about Elixir Light Top/Heavy Bottom Nanoweb Electric Guitar Strings:
this is a great product, i have had a set of these for a long time and never even thought of changing them. there is a great reduction on finger squeaking and they don't go out of tune fast. they also stretch into place nice and fast. i highly recommend you buy at least one set of these.
Comments about Elixir Light Top/Heavy Bottom Nanoweb Electric Guitar Strings:
