Elixer Nanos are the best strings out there for me. We all know there's a ton to choose from but with the smooth feel and extended life you just can't go wrong. Pricey to some they are but you really get that back in more ways than one. I prefer the Custom Lights because they feel right. Bending the E - G strings is effortless while the D - E hold a good bottom end. Even with other brands in the past I've preferred Custom Lights because they offer the best playability. If you've never tried Elixir Strings you owe yourself the treat to experience the best. I believe you will stay with them like I have.

A little pricey. With '3X Longer Life" I guess they can charge '3X Normal Price'. Around $10/set would increase sales, I'm sure.

I've had these on my guitar for about a week now and minus the fact that the tone is so bright yet that I have to wear sunglasses, they sound really nice. They seem to be a very strong string; however, there is a little resistance when doing bends, hammer-ons, etc.

overall these strings sound and play wonderfully, and last forever. the price is a tad high, but its still well worth the exrta money.
high quality strings. they sound great for months, and i have never had a single string break on me.
they are reletively expensive but they outlast and outplay cheaper strings tenfold.

I honestly don't think I can play any other brand of strings now. The Nanowebs are amazing and sound amazing. I think they trump the Polywebs by Elixir. I do have to say that I prefer the Phosphor Bronze Nano's to the these though. These started to do the "dandruff" thing pretty soon. Not that it affects the sound at all, but the Phosphors didn't start doing that until I played 3 gigs with them. They also just felt easier to play for whatever reason. I think it's worth the extra dollar or two. Either way you can't really go wrong with these strings. They're awesome.

I've always used Martin SP 12s because they're the lightest gauge acoustic strings on the shelf at the closest music store. I bought these Elixir 11s (w/free shipping) 2 weeks ago looking for less fret chirp and WOW!, way less chirp than non-coated strings, much easier to play than 12s and little if any loss of volume.
40 years of playing and I never knew what I was missing, I won't go back to SP 12s.

Elixer strings are a good value because they sound good so long.
These strings are the best acoustic strings I've ever used. They last better and sound good longer and I've never gotten a dead string in any pack I've bought.
I highly recomend them.

I have used Elixir strings on every acoustic I have owned for several years now and I just can't imagine using anything else. They stay fresh much longer than strings I have used in the past. I have tried during rough financial times to use something a bit cheaper, but always end up right back with the Elixirs.

So I got these by my guitar teachers suggestion. I saw them and I was kinda like meh... Elixir? Sounds kinda weird. The following day I came back and Picked up my guitar, went home and started playing them. My first thought was "Whoa there slidy (if that's a word)" They have a thin layer which was like slidy and stuff! I played them for about a minute and I couldn't put my guitar (a washburn, awesome) down. I LOVED THEESE STRINGS! I don't think i'll ever get another brand. I've had them for like 4 months and there still not flat and good. I highly reccoment them!
