Last 3 to 5 times longer than uncoated strings.
The engineers at Elixir took their original Polyweb coating and shrunk it down to Nanoweb size. The result? Brighter-sounding electric guitar strings that last 3 to 5 times longer than regular strings.
In addition to an ultrathin grunge-resistant tubular coating on the wound strings, Nanowebs now have a revolutionary Anti-Rust plating on the plain strings to extend their life too.
Elixirs are the first major innovation in guitar strings in over forty years, and they deliver what they promise: great tone and long life no matter what you put them on or how often you play.

I tried a lot of strings. I keep coming back to these. These work best for me. I now use them on all my guitars.
One of my guitars is equipped with a Floyd Rose. So it's sort of a pain to change strings on a frequent basis. If you have a guitar equipped with a Floyd Rose, then you know what I'm talking about. These work as advertised. They definitely last a lot longer. I could get about 8 good weeks with these, which is a lot longer than any other strings I tried. They sound great too. Now I use them on all my guitars. I recently tried the new D'Addario coated strings. They only lasted 3 weeks before they got all cruddy and they didn't sound as good either. So now I am reluctant to try any other strings. I'll stick with Elixir Nanowebs for now.
Work as advertised. They sound great and last long. Although these do break sometimes on me. But for some reason, I break a lot of strings regardless of what brand I use (D'Addarios, DR, etc.).
They cost more, but they last longer. So they are worth it.
I've used these strings on my Ibanez since I first bought it 7 years ago and noted that the e string would not last as long as the set. Just bought the 3 pack and in one month I've broken 3 e's and 2 b's. What happened Elixir? Used to love these strings, the feel, tone and playablilty. No more.
