I love Elixir. The only guitar I don't use them for is my 8-string and that's just because I can't. Yes, they's a bit more expensive, but they last forever. 6 months or so and no loss of quality, it's amazing. I will beat the hell out of them too. I was a little worried about using them on a tremolo with a few of the reviews I'd read, but I've got them on a wilkinson, a wonderbar and a kahler. No issues at all. I generally have the G-string raising 1.5 steps with my trems. I recently stepped up to the heavy strings, and it's like getting bigger is better. Elixir + Dimarzio= a wonderland for guitarists. ;-)

These are excellent strings, and taking the coating into consideration I had hoped for longer wear. Wrong... Lasted about the same length of play as a set of Ernie Ball Hybrids. Plus, you could actually see where the coating had rubbed off from picking, making them sort of dull and lifeless. Good strings, don't get me wrong... but not worth the price tag. I'm sticking with my Ernie Balls.

Comments about Elixir Nanoweb Heavy Electric Guitar Strings:
I started using Elixer strings over 6 years ago and have never used anything else since. I was using Martin but they wouldn't last long and didn't have the tone I wanted. I was amazed at the bright clear sound I get with Elixer strings and how long they last. The coating cuts down on finger noise on the strings and makes it smoother to play. T

Comments about Elixir Nanoweb Heavy Electric Guitar Strings:
Elixir has never failed me with their string products. You're going to get the great tension of the heavy strings, bright & full sound, distinguished chords (hear every note in the chord as you strum or ring out) & they'll last longer than any other coated strings out there. They're genuine, great quality products and well worth the price. Buy these strings!
Comments about Elixir Nanoweb Heavy Electric Guitar Strings:
For the year and a half i've been playing, I must have went through about 5 different strings and not one of those other strings compare to Elixer, I will never use any other strings for my guitars so long as Elixer continues to be the top-end string company that it is today.
They feature a thin coating around the stings that make the strings last longer.
My ex-girlfriend was the one who told me about Elixer strings, before that i was using Ernie Ball or Cleartone, I have to say that I consider Elixer to be top of the line as far as strings go.
Kinda pricey as far as strings are concerned, but Considering low grade strings cost about $5.00, why not pay another $5.00 and get strings that sound better and will last you 3 times longer?
Comments about Elixir Nanoweb Heavy Electric Guitar Strings:
I've been playing with Elixirs for the past 4-5 years and have never been disappointed.
Comments about Elixir Nanoweb Heavy Electric Guitar Strings:
Face it, with anyother kind of strings... you will need to changed them at least every 3 months to keep a decent tone. With elixirs, I don't really notice a drop in good tone for at least 6 months, and believe it or not once left a pair on the same guitar for almost two years.
Comments about Elixir Nanoweb Heavy Electric Guitar Strings:
I didn't know what tone was until purchasing these strings. The tone is incredible! I play in CGCFAD and these are now the strings that I'll live by. I gave the features a 9 because the only thing I can find to complain about is that I wish the G string was a 26 instead of a 24. But thats all. They were just what I was looking for when I found out the g string was wound. overall- Best strings ever!
Comments about Elixir Nanoweb Heavy Electric Guitar Strings:
I bought these strings and put them on a Fender Squire Strat...Big mistake. They lifted the saddle and I can't seem to make it go back down. I can no longer use my Tremelo bar with that guitar...I'd have to take the strings off and put different ones on there. But even though that happened, the strings are still awesome, I love them. They still manage to sound absolutely awesome on my guitar, and they also have a very nice feel to them. If I get going quick with long slides they make the fingers burn but I can deal with that. Overall I think they are awesome strings, well worth the money in every way. I am not a hard player, but I know people that are and they play my guitar and the strings give no problem. Buy them and have fun. Just remember, it will be a little harder playing high solos.
Comments about Elixir Nanoweb Heavy Electric Guitar Strings:
These strings make your guitar playing sound so much better, and the tone that these string have is mind blowing!
Comments about Elixir Nanoweb Heavy Electric Guitar Strings:
I swear by these strings. I hardly EVER have to change them...they hold their tone for so long, it's ridiculous. Perfect for broke, lazy musicians who hate changing their strings. I play hardcore/screamo/punk/alt.metal in dropped C - and I get SICK tone with this gauge. I would NEVER go back to using any other brand.
