Comments about Eminence Delta 12LFA 12" 500W PA Speaker:

This is the bass guitar speaker you want if your going with a 12" speaker[s]. They get deep. They get loud. They push a lot of air. They work well in a small sealed cab. They are 500 watt speakers, not 300. Thats RMS watts. They punch more than a 10", get as deep as many 15". I have a pair of these in a sealed 2-12 cab. of about 3.5 cubic feet and each wired to its own jack to get a 4ohm total load[or use 2 amps!] I have a 2-15 cab and its heavy and big. I have a single 15 cab about the same size as the 2-12 but the 2-12 goes just as deep and is louder. If your like me and want portability without sacrificing tone/sound this is the way to go. Read rhe specs. This is not just a PA speaker upgrade. Will work in ported cabs too. Used celestions, jbl, ev, fane, and a host of others. You simply can't get a better bang for you buck. Recommend rechecking torque after a while and good connections[no cold solder joints, etc.] because these babies will try to break apart anything not secure. Oh-did I say they sound good too even at moderate levels, but thats just not as fun is it?

Excellent bass speaker

Comments about Eminence Delta 12LFA 12" 500W PA Speaker:

I replaced the 12s in my Bassman 2x12 cabinet with these speakers, and after careful calculation, I cut 3-2" ports on the speaker board (unseen because I blackened the fresh cut and the grill cloth covers them). They handle both my Bassman 50 and Bassman 135 very well. I've actually played in a school auditorium with the 50/2x12 mix and it handled surprisingly well. They ARE very good speakers, especially for the price.

Comments about Eminence Delta 12LFA 12" 500W PA Speaker:

I put two of these in a sealed box, each individually wired to a jack (just like the other reviewer). This kicked the Acoustic B450 head I'd yanked out of a combo amp up to around 600W.

These things are LOUD! I play bass through this setup, and it gets "neighbors are gonna call the cops" loud at 3-4 on the master volume. Can get a nice doomy sound with a Bass Overdrive.

It also sounds nice clean, and can get very loud without distorting.

It doesn't sound as good as a 4x10, in my opinion, but it's a lot easier to carry and transport, and doesn't take up as much space. It sounds better than most 1x15 setups I've played around with.

Great speaker and Good b212a replacement

Comments about Eminence Delta 12LFA 12" 500W PA Speaker:

I just wanted to post this review to say this is an excellent replacement for the Behringer b212a or d powered speakers. It only fits in one specific way so it takes a little thought and effort to fit it but once it is lined up properly it fits perfectly. There is an immediate improvement in sound quality after replacing the stock speaker, a much smoother tone with considerably better low mids and bass response.

Comments about Eminence Delta 12LFA 12" 500W PA Speaker:

Replaced the two speakers in a vintage Kustom (far right in picture). I think the freq range is more than stated; lows are clean, (even with my 5- string), takes highs well on the G string. I installed them nice and tight, no rattling; just clean bass. I am going to put two in a Fender Bandmaster cabinet.

      • Use in Behringer Keyboard

Comments about Eminence Delta 12LFA 12" 500W PA Speaker:

Awsome, Awesome, Awesome! Makes Behringer Keyboard Amp sound better than stock Roland.
Installed in 10 minutes! It bolts right in with existing parts. And price; just a "C"note.
I own EV speakers that this equals in sound and effeciency and this is less than half the price!
I plan to put these in my Roland KC350, and Kustom powered floor monitor.
It is a great way to get quality sound from a cheaper amp and still cost less than more expensive units. Most cheaper amps are OK. They scrimp on speakers and cabinet materials.
I would suggest visiting the Eminence website to get complete specs and to find the right speaker to match the impedence of the amp you are using.

Will NOT fit Behringer B212 Cabs

      By Mr. CA

      from Windy City

Comments about Eminence Delta 12LFA 12" 500W PA Speaker:

My title says it all. After purchasing these to replace blown woofers (another story) in the Behringer B212 cabs I found they will not physically fit into the enclosures. I wrote MF and was told they recommended them for these cabs based on their performance specifications and NOT on their dimensions. I had to return them and took a hit on shipping and restocking fees. I told them they should've removed the recommendation of therse speakers as replacements to the B212 cabs. I see they haven't so I hope you read this and take heart. These speakers may be very good but I never heard them because I never got them into the enclosures. I can't rate them so I'll see if I can get away with not doing so (tried and I have to). I'll rate them 3.5 as they're cheap (not expensive at all) and have a good reputation. I hope they post this it's useful info for others in my shoes.
