The LAB 12 Was specifically designed for use in a horn loaded enclosure engineered by participants of the Live Audio Board Forum at prosoundweb.com. The design is posted on the Live Audio Board and is available to the public by visiting www.prosoundweb.com/lsp/. The woofer is also suitable for more conventional applications where extended Xmax is desired.

Great car and PA sub

    Comments about Eminence LAB 12 Subwoofer:

    I use this sub in my car in a vented box. I like the plain black cone and surround, which looks different than most car subs with flashy logos. It sounds good and hits hard even at colder temperatures (Montana winters). Sometimes, I use it for small venues (coffee shops, worship services for about 30-50 people). It handles a good amount of power and has good travel (Xmax=13mm).

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
