I've used these (both 8 and 16 ohms) in a couple amps now and I really like them a lot. I'm a fan of British tone with prominent mids and this speaker does that well. A few things these have going for them. Good bass handling even in an open-back cab. The highs are smoothed out somewhat (shallow cone and big dust cap). It has an undoped cone. It's amazing how much speaker doping muffles the mojo. The best way I can describe it is an undoped cone produces a more lively and organic tone. I generally prefer 12" speakers, but for British tone in a 10" this is my go-to speaker.

I got a pair of these for a 2x10 cabinet. I originally planned on getting some Webers, but due to financial constraints I bought these. They are not amazing, but they are definetly punchy.
