didn't last very long

By George Tarlson

from San Francisco, CA

Comments about Eminence Legend CB158 15" 300W Bass Speaker:

I liked this speaker. Sounded good and was very affordable. I only wish it would have lasted longer than 16 months. Used it with a 200 watt amplifier, rarely playing louder than half volume. One day it started making really bad vibrating sounds on certain frequencies. I'm wondering if it would be worth fixing such a cheap speaker.

Comments about Eminence Legend CB158 15" 300W Bass Speaker:

I bought this speaker to put into my custom vanilla/oxblood bass cabinet. The speaker sounds great coupled with my Orange Terror Bass Head and American P. If you are looking for an old school funky motown sound, get a rig similiar to this!

Great Bass Tone!

Comments about Eminence Legend CB158 15" 300W Bass Speaker:

I just installed this speaker in my Hartke 2155 Combo amp. The amp is older and sounding like it. After I installed the Eminence it was amazing. Good deep tones, very powerfull, and a much better sounding speaker than the original Hartke or EV speakers I had in the unit previously!

Round and Deep

By Doowop14

Comments about Eminence Legend CB158 15" 300W Bass Speaker:

WHen I blew the stock 15" driver in my Fender Bassman 115, I intended to replace it with the standard replacement speaker. But I noticed that the CB 158 was cheaper at. I figured it was probably the same speaker and decided to go for the Eminence. BOY WAS I WRONG!! The CB 158 produces fuller and rounder tones than the original. I'm VERY happy with this driver!

Great Replacement Speaker

By 63SG

from Midwest

Comments about Eminence Legend CB158 15" 300W Bass Speaker:

I bought this speaker to replace the one in my Hartke 1415 (the original's cone separated). The result with the Legend was a deeper bass sound and more volume without breaking up. I can now use my 140 watt amp outside without needing to run a signal through the PA. The sound is awesome!
