I installed the Ragin' Cajun into my Fender Super Champ XD. I read all of the reviews of people saying this speaker turned their Super Camp into a monster and man they were right! I immediately noticed a difference in the warmth, articulation, and fullness of my sound! The cleans are warm and...clean, and the distortion is articulate and fits my needs nicely. I had been trying to play Tool's "Jambi" and the beginning part never sounded right. I alawys thought I was just doing something wrong because of how muddy it souned. Tried the same lick with the Ragin Cajun and it sounds perfect! I would highly recommend this speaker for anyone that owns a Fender Super Camp XD or needs a 10 inch speaker.

Two items of note: 1) A few people said this is a bass heavy speaker and I do not agree. While it is darker, it has a screaming Mid/Low range. A quick turn of the Treble knob from 4 to 6 cleaned up the darkness. 2) Don't forget, the first time you install the speaker will be the worst it will sound. All speakers need to be broken in before they hit their sweet spot. With that said, this thing still sounds amazing directly after install. Buy, you won't regret!
It's a speaker. All it knows is shouting.
Very sturdy and heavy with a strong comb. Seems top-notch!
I'm really surprised this thing is available for this price.

RC is a great loudspeaker! Replaced the stock speaker in my SuperChamp X2 to get a little more volume and depth. The volume definetly is there! Great tone from this speaker if you play a lot of "crunch" and "dirty" sounds. It "woke up" the dirty amp voices on channel 2. The biggest "con" I have with this speaker is that you lose the classic Fender "chime" on the clean channel. It sounds "okay" now instead of where it was. I gave the speaker a chance and "broke it in" with about 20 hours on it hoping the "cleans" would settle in. They did not. I swapped out the RC for a Jensen C10Q. BINGO!!! More volume and depth, but still retains the classic Fender "vintage chime" on the clean channel. The RC is a great speaker. But if you want more than "crunch" and volume in a Fender amp, I strongly suggest Jensen replacements. If you just like "dirty", you should have bought a Marshall instead!!

Comments about Eminence Patriot Ragin' Cajun 10" 75W Guitar Speaker:

I ordered an Eminence Ragin' Cajun to replace the stock speaker in my Fender Super Champ XD. Immediately, even before the speaker was broken in, there was a huge tonal improvement. All bassy muddiness was gone, all shrill treble was gone, and each note seemed like it had a bit more "umph." The midrange was plenty pronounced, and the resulting lead tone was great. The speaker greatly improved the tone of the Super Champ XD, it can handle distortion phenomonally, and also made the (small, 15 watt) amp noticeably louder.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Ragin' Cajun for any style of music and any tone. You won't be dissapointed.

I bought these to replace the oem's in my hotrod deville. I was looking for a little less honk and fewer piercing highs. They didn't fix either but they sure were LOUD! If you have a modeling amp that you want to add a little brit flavor to then these might work but if vintage is your thing look elsewhere.

Comments about Eminence Patriot Ragin' Cajun 10" 75W Guitar Speaker:

I purchased a Ragin Cajun to upgrade the stock speaker in a Fender Frontman25R that I use for rehearsal with our Blues/Jazz/Rock band. Normally I wouldn't be seen with a solid state amp but I didn't want to leave any of my vintage Fenders at the rehearsal room. The stock speaker broke up way too soon and was buzzy sounding, especially on low notes with a humbucker guitar. The Ragin Cajun made a HUGE difference in the overall tone, eliminated the buzzy breakup, and was louder to boot. I immediately ordered another for my early '80's Super Champ with similar results. I cannot say enough good stuff about this speaker, especially in a 1-10 combo amp. Maybe I'll 2 of them in my Vibrolux......

Comments about Eminence Patriot Ragin' Cajun 10" 75W Guitar Speaker:

I have a Vox Cambridge 30 that came down with "Cambridgitis". When I replaced the notorious opto-coupler, I also did the popular 30 to 60 watt mod. I needed a heavier speaker, but I didn't want to break the bank. Fortunately, I was able to hear some of the Eminence speakers on another site, and I liked this one. I put it in my Cambridge and it did not disappoint. This speaker is crisp when you need crisp and mellow when you need mellow. It has a bottom like a Kardasian sister and a top like...well, now I'm getting distracted. It can play loud and clean, and break up right where I want. I play blues and rock, and a little jazz. It does all of that pretty well.

I bought this to replace the stock speaker in my Roland Cube 30X. It's louder than because of the high sensitivity. I plugged the port holes in the cabinet, and it's essentially a closed-back amp. The Eminence Patriot Ragin Cajun has no problem what so ever. After breaking it in for a few days, the clean sound from a Fender Strat is to die for! Distorted sound with a humbucker is great! Loving it!

Incredible improvement in tone complexity and a real improvement over the stock Jensen speakers

This change brought my Super Reverb Reissue up to par on tone with my 1966 Super Reverb.

Comments about Eminence Patriot Ragin' Cajun 10" 75W Guitar Speaker:

I purchased the Rajin Cajun to replace the stock speaker in my Super Champ XD after reading many reviews stating the positive results of the upgrade. I could "feel" the quality of the speaker right out of the box and knew it had to be an improvement in tone. It took me about 8 minutes to swap out the speaker and BAM!! I was in Tone Heaven. This gave the SCXD just the kick it needed to be a viable contender to the tone of my Hot Rod Deville's clean channel. Now I don't have to lug the HRD to practice in our small rehearsal hall. I can get more volume without speaker break up, better lows and just plain ole superior overall tone with the upgrade. If you have a Super Champ XD, or any other 10 inch single speaker amp and are serious about quality tube tone, do yourself a favor and get the Rajin Cajun and be prepared to be amazed at the difference!

Comments about Eminence Patriot Ragin' Cajun 10" 75W Guitar Speaker:

Just loaded this baby into my Fender 25R last night and what a difference. The stock speaker sounded very thin. This speaker brought the amp to life. The cleans have a deeper vibe to them with out losing any high end clarity. I have a Boss DS1 in front along with a Boss OD pedal. The stock speaker did ok, but the bass started to vanish if the volume went up. No loss in tone or bass with this speaker. It makes my little 25 watt solid stater sound great. Due to the magnet size and strength I do get a slight hiss from the amp, but no big deal. When you buy a solid state amp you just know that you are gonna get some type of amp noise. I played more expensive Marshall solid staters that gave off alot more noise then this little Fender. Overall this is a great upgrade for your amp. It makes my basement jamming 25 watter sound fabulous.

Comments about Eminence Patriot Ragin' Cajun 10" 75W Guitar Speaker:

I own a Fender Frontman 25R practice amp that I use for playing electric and acoustic-electric guitars at home. I like this amp and would recommend buying it to any one but it has always produced quite a bit of distortion and an annoying buzz at higher volumes. I heard where owners of the Fender 25R Frontman had replaced the 10-inch factory, no-brand name speaker, with an Eminence Rajin Cajun or another comparable Eminence speaker. So, I bought the Rajin Cajun, popped it in in about 15 minutes, and the difference has been outstanding. I can crank the volume up without any concerns. The sound is very crisp and clean and the tones are more rich with this speaker. The difference will blow you away. Fender should get a clue and make this a standard speaker for their line of Frontmans. The sad thing is that the quality and capability of the amp has always been there but could not be experienced until the correct speaker was installed. Just think how many buyers criticize a good product, such as the amp, when all they have to do is listen to sounds the way they were intended to through a decent speaker. Spend the extra bucks and replace your generic speakers. You will not be disappointed.

I put this in a fender pro jr when the factory eminence developed voice coil rattle. I have 2 pro jrs and the other is still stock. This speaker is louder than original but it is a much fuller sound more bass mids and plenty of highs. Mine is not fully broken in yet but I didn't really notice any ice pick highs out of the box. Ill probably end up putting a ramrod in my other pro jr to complement the improvements the ragin cajun made. Speaker has much bigger magnet and little heavier than stock but works great .

I bought this as a replacement for the stock speaker in my Frontman 25r. The speaker added a tremendous amount of bass, volume, and touch sensitivity to the amp. I mostly just use the amp for personal practice, but now feel I could use it at low-volume/intimate gigs. Well worth the money. I'm a rock, funk, blues, and jazz player.

I bought one of these lat week to install in my 2000 Fender Champion 30 Combo. The stock speaker which was in it, was starting to break up and needed a replacement. I've heard so much about these and decided to take a chance on it and I'm glad that I did. This speaker not only improved the sound of my amp, but also added some extra volume to it as well. The Treble and Mids are m uch more pronounce although it is a tad Bassy, which can be rectified by lowering your Bass on your amp. My 30 watt amp now sounds more like a 50 watt one at least. It's now definately a gig worthy amp and much improved thanks to this speaker. I'm now thinking of getting one of these for my son's Fender Frontman 25R combo, which I just bought him . Since he's just learning how to play guitar, I might as well teach him what true tone sounds like as well.

This speaker was a drop in replacement for a Frontman 25 factory speaker. Having owned Eminence bass speakers, I now believe that all Eminence speakers are the best on the market right now. I can get incredible bottom/bass response from this amp/speaker combo. Mids are solid and clear, top seems slightly rounded but is there. Very pleased with the speaker - construction is solid, attractive and shows a final finish detail above the stock Fender. I'd buy another Frontman 25 and Ragin' Cajun in a heartbeat.
