Comments about Eminence Patriot Red White and Blues 120W Guitar Speaker:

This speaker is great.Has it's own tone. The best I can discribe is that it growls,Very full sound but is not piercing. Some people compare it an EV 12L,I have one in another amp, This speaker is a little more mid range and distortion sounds better.I am considering replacing the EV with this speaker. It has a knarly sound.

Great Replacement Speaker

Comments about Eminence Patriot Red White and Blues 120W Guitar Speaker:

I recently bought a used amp, a 1983 Peavey Studio Pro 40. This is a solid state 40 watt amp. When I got it it had the original speaker, and I noticed a rattle from the cone. I figured it was a 30 year old speaker, So I chose The Eminence Red, White, and Blues as a replacement. Good Decision on my part. This amp sounds fantastic now. Great Clean sounds, It gets gritty with the amp overdrive and saturation channel, Then I can engage a pedal for full on distortion. Good all around speaker. I am glad I chose this one.
Great quality. Very well made
Worth the money in my opinion.

Drummer Retired Electronics Tech

Comments about Eminence Patriot Red White and Blues 120W Guitar Speaker:

I put this in a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. It does a great job and is excellent sounding. I used it to replace a Red Coat Stonehenge which had an open voice coil. The original speaker was 75 watts this Red White and Blues is rated at 120 watts. Both are Eminence Branded speakers

These things breath life into your amp

By Wayne I. Johnson

from Waterbury,Connecticut-The Tax State!

Comments about Eminence Patriot Red White and Blues 120W Guitar Speaker:

I finally replaced the stock Peavey Scorpions in my early 80's Peavey 160 watt Reknown combo a year ago with RW&Bs from MF. This is my main amp that I bought new,and even though it was in great condition and sounded excellent,I felt it was time to try an upgrade and these speakers make my amp sound amazing. Despite being solid state, the Reknown always sounded like it has tubes in it,and now it has incredible definition clean or distorted. I will always use Eminence from now on,I'm convinced!

Put it in my Blues Deluxe....

By SGjohn

from PA

Comments about Eminence Patriot Red White and Blues 120W Guitar Speaker:

I bought this speaker becuase Eminence recommends it as a suitable replacemen for Fender Blues Junior/Deluxe. I have the Deluxe and this speaker should have come stock. It fixed every issue I had with the stock speaker, the amp no longer sounds harsh on the gain channel, it gives me much more headroom and if I pluck the lowest note and the highest note on my SG at the same time they both are audible and clean. This is a great speaker.

Instant Tone Upgrade

By Very Picky Picker-blI7R

from Saint Louis, MO

Comments about Eminence Patriot Red White and Blues 120W Guitar Speaker:

I bought one of these to upgrade an amp I had, and I liked it so much that when I bought a better amp I took the RW&B's out of the old amp and put it in the new one. The difference between this speaker and the stock units is like the difference between listening to a studio performance versus a live recording. All the noise, hiss, etc. are just not there. The overall tone seems more focused and immediate, and this speaker can handle some serious power without breaking up. I've had the RW&B's in my main amp for about three years now, and I love it. It can be sparkly, but it's not harsh or thin-sounding. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone looking for balance, clarity, and smoothness.

Replacement Experience

By Fishin Musician

Comments about Eminence Patriot Red White and Blues 120W Guitar Speaker:

I used Eminence speakers a long time ago and wasn't impressed. I use a Reverend Amp now with the extension speaker and the main speaker finally went bad. I was told to try the Red, White, and Blue speaker. "What a great speaker. i don't even use the extention speaker now.The Eminence is Fat and Clean. Just the right amount of distortion without fade. I'm impressed.

Punchy warm tone w/ controlled mids

By Tollund Man

from Detroit, MI

Comments about Eminence Patriot Red White and Blues 120W Guitar Speaker:

Just like the title says - this speaker is very punchy and immediate. But it is not at all harsh - very smooth & warm mids with nice treble sparkle that is also warm. If you're looking for versatility, this is it. If you're looking for a huge mid bite, look elsewhere. For clean, it is second to none. For distortion, very controlled without any nasty spikes - VERY handy indeed and covers alot of ground from jazz to rock.

Phenomenal

By LeftyUkeMan

from Lake Stevens, Washington

Comments about Eminence Patriot Red White and Blues 120W Guitar Speaker:

I let a friend borrow my Epiphone Triggerman and he destroyed the stock speaker, but it was okay because it gave me a good reason to upgrade. While the amp is still solid state, I noticed an AMAZING improvement. It is a very crisp speaker and each sound is very clear. To my ears there seems to be a little bit of very smooth speaker distortion at high volumes which is nice. I am thinking about putting two of these in my Classic 50.

Eminance Rocks and Rolls

By Hammerslash

from New York

Comments about Eminence Patriot Red White and Blues 120W Guitar Speaker:

If your amp is lacking something and your not sure what to do , buy this speaker. I installed it im my Crate V50. What a difference. I am very happy with the results. I am not sure how to explain it better than to just say it adds a quality to the sound that makes your amp sound as if you paid hundreds of dollars more for it than you actually did. I will purchase more Eminance speaker in the future with no hesitation. Delivery was excellent and on time. thanks.
