My SST fits the ECACS

Comments about Epiphone ECACS Case:

The SST fits the ECACS well. It is all that is available so, the choice is very simple. Either you pay the price and buy one or you use a gig bag that really offers less protection. I think the price is high for the quality you get.
The primary feature that I find is that the ECACS is the ONLY hard shell case made for the SST. There may be others. Other than that, it is just a case. It has an interior pocket, a key lock, and a covered handle. Nothing special. The SST is very heavy so, this is much better than a gig bag.
I think the quality is not great. The case was obviously made in a hurry. There are little bumps in the covering where something was overlayed. The vinyl covering is soft and prone to scratch. There were many factory installed scrapes and dings - all small but all obvious to me. The hardware is inexpensive. The inside is fine - soft, smooth, and the SST fits inside nicely. It was tight at the start but, soon came into shape. The case is not as rigid as others I have.
I think the ECACS is over priced considering the quality and price of a new SST. Many cases available from Musician's Friend (for other guitars) are lower in price and higher in quality. The SST will not fit those so, if you want a hard shell case for your SST this is it - price, quality, and all. I don't know how well the covering will wear. I don't take mine on the road.

Comments about Epiphone ECACS Case:

It's a decent case but probably $30 higher than it should be. That could be because it's use is so limited to a couple of guitar models and the user base isn't there. It frosts me to pay about a third the price of the guitar for a case. If you don't want a gig bag for your nylon string sst epiphone it looks like you're stuck with this.
