I've exclusively used Earthwoods on my Martin D-12-20 for about 35 years now. I know that each guitar has its preference, but mine just sings with Earthwoods. I'm just amazed that they're still around after all this time.
One change that Ernie Ball made (this was many years ago) that I did not like was switching the high A-string (0.20) from a bronze wound to a plain string. I have to keep ordering separate 0.20 bronze wound strings to keep that "too-tinny" plain .20 out of my mix.
I'm obviously an Earthwood lifer. I think the "Lights" are the best gauge going for most 12-string acoustics (beefy enough without tension-stressing your bridge, top and neck).

I have used these string for the last year on my 12 string acoustic and find that they hold tune well, and played with proper technique are no more "squeaky" than any other acoustic string. They seem to last well, and definitely play much easier than the Martin Extra Lights.

I bought two sets of these strings. Both squeaked horribly from the beginning, especially the wound strings. Good tone if you don't need to slide. Cheap.
