    I have used these strings on all my banjos and banjolas for years because I know what to expect pack after pack. I like the mellow sound they produce, easy to tune and stays tuned, all around, the best string I have found and they are inexpensive so I can change strings often.

        I have tried them all and these are my preference in banjo strings, I have them on every banjo I own from the woodies to the heavy tonering models, have never got a bad string yet and as long as you keep them clean, they last as long as any I have used.

            I love these strings on my Deering Goodtime banjo. I play in multiple tunnings all the time and If these string can last this long they get an A+ for me. When I first got the strings I did break one when putting them up there. That put a bad taste in my mouth as far as quality. But as I had bought a big pack of them I decided to just get another out and try it again. I blame that break on myself. These strings are a year old, and I play everyday.
