All around great strings with a very crisp tone. Some of the best strings I've put on my Martin DX1R acoustic guitar.

The high stings, B and E, are a bit twangy, but I can live with that.
I put these strings on my Martin D-15, a mahogany body, and it brought out the rich tenor tone of this guitar. I was very pleased with the ring and tone of the strings. It sounded rich and full and made me want to play. Anything that makes you want to play is a very good thing. These are my strings from this day forward.
The tone lasts. You don't have to chnge them every two weeks.

I can't believe how low a rating people gave this product. I mean, it is not intended for beginners, since they aren't very playable in a regular tuning (E-B-G-D-A-E).Let me tell you, however, that I put these strings on a Korean Ovation Celebrity, and I tuned my guitar to D (D-A-F-C-G-D). They are really powerful! I guess they must sound great in a better guitar (maybe a Gibson), tuned in E.In the meantime, I get a great tone, playability and incredible bending ease for a .013 gauge
