Durable, easy to bend, and sound great. I've been using these strings for 7 years now. I've never seen them rust - even when left on guitars more or less in storage (1 year plus storage time). So, have no clue how people own guitars upon which the strings have rusted within a week - seems absurd (maybe a climate issue). It is very rare to break one of these strings - only after used and abused for an extended strecth of string life. What sold me on these strings was the way they felt. They feel more flexible (I guess, slinky) and I find it easier to bend that other brands I've tried. This is a heavy gauge; thus, harder to bend. But, these feel more like 10s than 11s, which is great. Awesome strings. Change them after about 20-30 hours of play and will have no issues - since affordable, that works out nicely. I bend a lot, country to blues, and find these strings can take it.

These strings are what I usually use. I tried them once and I got hooked after being used to buying regular slinkies. The heavier gauge allows them to have a thicker sound which makes them great for funk. Being that they are a heavier gauge, they are a little harder to bend. You don't really notice until you try to bend the higher strings. These are great to use if you're trying to build up finger strength though. So when/if you decided to swap to a thinner gauge string, you can bend to all the notes your heart desires. And on top of the fact that they have awesome tone, they're cheap and they last quite a long time. I usually change them every month or so anyway just so I can get keep that fresh tone going. For those of you wondering, yes they CAN last 3-4 months, but it's a given that they will lose some of their tone. But some people like toned down strings. It's all personal preference. The thicker gauge helps a lot for alternate tunings too. They're never too loose to where you receive fret buzz. Long story short, great strings. Grab a pack along with some others at the local music store to see what you like the best.

These are literally the best strings i have used. Perfect guage for standard and drop-d. thick sounding but not muddy in any way, affordable, and come 100% rust free every time thanks to the packaging.

I used Ernie Ball regular slinkies for a long time, then i switched to Power slinkies. they do rust out very fast but they sound amazing. they last about 3-4 months and are definitely worth the money. The strings are very easy to bend and make pinch harmonics sing. some say the strings are hard to bend, but i believe you have to work up finger strength. just me i guess.

I have been using these for a while now, they feel pretty good and comfortable and have a nice tone. Now, they die way to fast. After a week they were dead so then i tried some DR Pure Blues which are AWESOME! I think it's the 100% nickel. That aside, i recommend these strings if you want to change them constantly.

Everyone said such good things about these strings, even my friend, a proud owner of a custom made Jackson RR1. So I went and bought a pair, fully assured they would be fine. Pretty cheap, I was happy. A week and a half later...they were totally rusted out. At the time I had a Squier though, so I can't really comment on tone, but I dont feel like wasting money and time by getting these for my Les Paul just so I can have a full review. Isn't it enough that they wear out so fast? Was very dissapointed, also, even tho they are a slightly larger guage, they are IMPOSSIBLE to bend and solo with. Cut my fingers up wayyy more than D,Addarios do.

My Jackson has never sounded better. I used to use GHS and Daddario and Im so happy I bought this 10 pack through MF. EB's new packaging is really convenient too. Best strings I've ever played.
