Love the strings; been using them for decades. I have a lot of joint pain and so I try to set up my guitars as light and low as possible -- super slinkys are the best I've found in all these years; they have decent tone that lasts a while, they don't break easily, and they're inexpensive enough to not break the piggity bank.
Shipping... I went for the free shipping, and I regret that. They came by some horrifying hybrid of UPS and post, and consequently the strings sat for days within 50 miles of me, unmoving, because apparently, the USPS doesn't exactly give he highest priority to packages UPS drops off on their doorstep. No wonder they can't make money.
Anyway, next time I'll happily pay for "pure" UPS shipping, and I'll get them on time like I do all the rest of my stuff from Muscian's Friend, I'll be able to track them all the way, and so forth. You gets what you pays for.
I highly recommend both the Slinkys and Musician's Freind. It's not their fault that USPS sucks like a vacuum cleaner jacked into 240 VAC.

These strings aren't that great. They're not bad, persay, but not that good, either. The tone they have is actually pretty good, although there are a little more lows than I like. They compare rather closely to Dean Markleys in tone. But after that, they start to fail. These strings don't seem to stay in tune as good as others. I had to stretch Ernie Ball strings more than most other strings I've tried to make them stay in tune. And even then, they don't stay as well as the others. Also, both sets of EB strings I've played have a stiff 'G' string, which I don't like. Also, that same string seems to be a bit quiter than the rest. Maybe it's made like that to offset the Stratocaster pickup poles? I don't know, either way, I would recommend Dean Markley or D'Adarrio strings before these.

Comments about Ernie Ball 2223 Nickel Super Slinky Custom Gauge Electric Guitar Strings:
These strings are great. I use them on all of my guitars. They're easy to play and work well with my RG's floating trem. they do rust after a while, especially with sweaty hands, but they can last for a few months if sprayed with "Fast Fret" string lube. Overall I am very pleased with these strings and will continue to purchase them.

Comments about Ernie Ball 2223 Nickel Super Slinky Custom Gauge Electric Guitar Strings:
I love to play a variety of guitars and amps, but in my perfect world, every guitar would be strung with Ernie Ball SuperSlinky's. I refuse to use anything else on my guitars. They are the best sounding, most playable, most bendable strings out there, and they are no slouch as far as durability. Yeah, I know, the macho patrol will be all over me for not playing steel cables that prove I'm a man and tear my fingers to shreds, but I'm secure enough in my manhood that I prefer great sound and playability to proving my masculinity with heavy gauge guitar strings. For those of you who are convinced only a set of 13's will do for you, you may find yourself amazed at how much the sound of your guitar will open up with a set of SS's.

Comments about Ernie Ball 2223 Nickel Super Slinky Custom Gauge Electric Guitar Strings:
I've been a long-time user of Ernie Ball's strings (going back to the early-1970s). I alternate between the Super Slinkys and Hybrid Slinkys, but because seem to have found a new preference for the Super Slinkys. These are great blues and rock strings, easy to bend, and long-lasting. I change strings often so rarely deal with broken strings or have a dead string issue, but the Super Slinkys seem to hold up better and sound "new" much longer than some other brands I've tried. I also find these have a little "warmth" to the tone, which I like. From time to time I've tried other strings but always come back toe EB's.

Comments about Ernie Ball 2223 Nickel Super Slinky Custom Gauge Electric Guitar Strings:
I was struggling to even like my new Epiphone Les Paul Custom. I even thought about new pickups and shopped around. I decided after trying other brands to try one more and I put some of these on there. Man, whatta change! I mean real playability here for me. The tone is worlds apart from even more expensive strings. There will never be a different set of strings on this guitar which is now a favorite.
