Comments about Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

The new aluminum bronze strings sound surprisingly good on my Gibson J-185 EC Rosewood. They do sound brighter and louder than the D'Addario Phosphor Bronze strings I usually use, but I wouldn't say "better." The new strings succeed in producing a brighter, louder sound without sounding tinny.

Comments about Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

New Cedar-topped guitar with a muted tone, that I wanted to increase the voice. These strings did the trick, though I don't know if a set 80/20 bronze-steel wouyld have done the same. That said, these did what I wanted.

Comments about Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I've found that just because a brand of strings sounds good on one guitar, doesn't mean they will sound as good on other guitars. That said, I was never able to get my Martin Jorma Kaukonen M30 to sound as great as I thought it should sound- until I tried these strings. Wonderful tone and nice feel. Nothing else will go on this guitar. The way this guitar is playing, it's become my absolute favorite. These strings are definitely worth a try.

I put these on my Ovation Balladeer and got the same playability and brighter tone than the Elixer extra lights I was using. They hold tuning well, even in varying temperatures. Don't know about the life, have been playing them less than 2 weeks.

Comments about Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

These aluminum bronze strings have a similar feel as the folk silk and steel style;;but, maintain the clarity and brightness of regular bronze strings.. They facilitate fingering both complex chord structures and single string leads, They allow one to comfortably play and practice for extended periods.

Comments about Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

Installed a set of these just after Memorial Day and have purposely neglected them. I haven't cleaned them nor sheltered from summer's humidity. I wanted to see if they were all that EB claimed

To my surprise and satisfaction, they retained much of that new string jangle for over 2 weeks and then settled into being a great sounding set of strings. Its now mid-August and the strings still sound good and I have no plans to change them.

EB advertises that these strings "more projection and clarity than traditional bronze strings". These strings deliver on this, bringing more volume and great clarity to the individual notes

Comments about Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I'm am totaly hooked on these strings! I've been playing since the early 70's and have tried a very large number of string brands and types. These have a very balanced musical sound to them. You can hear each note clearly. They typicaly last me over a month and I play a lot everyday. Try them I really think you'll hear the difference.
