Comments about Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Medium Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

        REALLY LIKE THESE STRINGS !!!

Now that these have "settled in" I like them even more.

You gotta try different picks with these strings.
They respond to pick changes more than any other strings I have tried.

Did the Elixir thing for a while and got tired of the "shed" of the poly's.
Then went to Nano's and I do like them too.
D'Addarios and DR Sunbeams are good too.

Hopefully these will live up to the billing in longevity.

Very "open" sound under the pick.
        Good finger picking, not great.

Overall I believe I have found THE string set !!!

Very Happy with these and will DEFINITELY buy more for my Blueridge BR 60.

Comments about Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Medium Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I'm shocked at how good these strings made my Gibson Jackson Browne sound!

I've played guitar over forty years and have mostly used D'Addarios. These are the first Ernie Ball strings I've tried. They clearly made my guitar sound louder, clearer, fuller and all-around better! Not sure what all the 'aluminum' thing is about, but hearing is believing.

I'm not sure how they will sound on a brighter guitar, as my JB is a dark sounding one. But I'll soon find out; I bought five more sets for my other guitars!

My advice? Buy some and try some!

Comments about Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Medium Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I have had these strings for about a week, so keep that in mind. However, I believe you can judge most strings with only 1 week's time, and these have been great.

Replaced my Elixir Phosphor Bronze on my Taylor 814ce with these, and I do not regret it.

You really don't know until you try, and these are definitely a repeat purchase for me.

Comments about Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Medium Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

Using these strings on my 814 Taylor. I have always been an Elixir guy, mainly because of the quiet finger slides for recording. I've only had these on for a couple days but they seem to be very resonant and the harmonics glisten. These strings sound better than the Elixir but the squeeks are annoying and require EQ to quiet.

Comments about Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Medium Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I put these strings on my Santa Cruz 00 that had previously had Elixir phosphor bronze strings (my standard string of choice). I find the tone similar, but perhaps not quite as bright, which was a surprise based on the advertising. Still, they sound quite good and I'm pleased with them, given the price. Also, since they are packaged air-tight, they should have a very long shelf life. I plan on leaving a set in my gig bag as an emergency set. I want to try them on my OM next. While I may go back to phosphor bronze on the 00, I'm happy to have tried these - curious to see how long they last relative to coated strings.

Comments about Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Medium Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

Got my Ernie Ball Medium Light Aluminum Bronze strings yesterday and put them on my Martin D-35, They sounded great. I had D'Addarrio phorphor bronze medium gauge set on the guitar and they were due to be replaced, I was thinking of going to light gauge strings because of arthritis in my left hand, so when I was that the aluminum bronze strings were available I decided to buy a couple sets. I will have to play the guitar for a few more days to decide it they are better. The price is very good so it is worth anyone trying these strings without breaking his budget.
