Ernie Ball Slinky guitar strings are crafted with a proprietary enamel coating on the wound strings and a rust-resistant plating on the plain strings. All the plain Slinky strings are reinforced with a patented winding of titanium wire around the lock twist of the ball end. Wound Slinky strings are wrapped with an alloy of 92% copper, 7.7% zinc wire, and .3% phosphor, providing excellent clarity with rich and warm overtones.

I wasted my money on these thinking they would be great strings with long life. I was so wrong. Strings consistently broke from set to set and a set never lasted me longer than 5 weeks.
Severely disappointed. Ernie Ball has failed yet again.
