Nice polish. I will purchase this Ernie Ball polish again.

On a side note, I received a Fender lunch box gift bundle ordered from Musicians Friend, receiving it for Christmas 2013. In using the included bottle of Fender polish on both electric and acoustic finishes, I only achieved smeary/greasy results. Results you could sign your name in with the greasy haze left on the instruments. I would then clean the guitars and use a different polish, obtaining stellar results. I would come back to the Fender polish a few months later, only to achieve the same greasy/smeary results. I even contacted Fender telling them about the problem and, in hopes as a goodwill gesture that they would send me a new bottle. But the Fender representative only said, "I've never experienced the problem you're having" Uhh…that's it? That's your reply? Guess whose polish I'll never ever (dot-dot-dot-infinity) ever ever buy again. And, I'm sure Fender will go broke because I won't buy their polish.

So, I tried and love the Ernie Ball polish. The polish has a light pink color as observed on a white micro-fiber plush cloth and it has a nice smell about it. The spray is a fine mist and you could spray into your cloth or directly onto the back possibly, of your guitar. The Ernie Ball polish leaves no streaks, smears or smudges. The polish comes with a polish cloth that I've not yet put into service. In doing a price search, at the time of my purchase, I found Musicians Friend had the best price.

I've always used Gibson polish, but after reading the glowing reviews for Ernie Ball polish I decided to give it a try. Having used it I can honestly say that I see very little difference between Gibson and Ernie Ball polish. They both do fine, but despite some reviewers claiming the Ernie Ball polish wiped away easier, I can't say I found this to be true. Of course it all depends on how much sweat and oil you have to wipe away after a gig, but they both seem about the same. The Ernie Ball polish does have a fruity smell which may appeal to some, but it kind of reminds me of those air fresheners that some say are noxious. There are certainly no shortage of cautionary warnings and advice on the Ernie Ball bottle. They may have the same warnings on the Gibson bottle, but I haven't read their bottles in a long time. While I don't see much difference between them as a polish, I give Gibson the nod for the smell alone. Gibson polish smells like polish. Ernie Ball smells like those aroma candles that give me a headache.

Comments about Ernie Ball Guitar Polish And Cloth:

I've been using Dunlop or Gibson polish for years but I saw this cleaner, read the reviews and bought some. The reviews are right. This stuff sprays on and you don't have to wipe and wipe and wipe to get it off. It has a pleasant smell and really does the job in half the time. I've found a new polish. Great job Ernie Ball!

Comments about Ernie Ball Guitar Polish And Cloth:

I build and repair electrics for a living. The polish itself is fine but the spray tip is really bad. It may just be a defective one. The spray pattern is too wide and polish goes everywhere. Fender and Gibson are better in this regard but they are over priced. That is why I chose Ernie Ball polish. The cloth I could do without. It's not great for polishing, not absorbant enough.I'd rather they drop the price of the polish and do away with the cloth.I will pour it into an empty Gibson applicator I have and will then feel the Love!

Works as advertised to remove finger prints an dirt from finished instruments. With a little scrubbing, i have actually removed the dirt discoloration from unfinished maple necks with this stuff. Nice smell too.

Comments about Ernie Ball Guitar Polish And Cloth:

If you take your time with a light application on the soft cloth provided, you'll get amazing results. It makes your guitar or really any finished instrument appear brand new. This polish removes fingerprints and leaves absolutely no streaks or polish build up. It works extemely well for polishing chrome parts and and really any other metal hardware. But do not use on strings or fretboards! Ernie Ball knows what is best for making the back of the neck smooth and shine. No cons or concerns. Invest in this!
This polish makes the guitar look unbelievably godlike.
The quality is worth the value and longevity of the very little application needed for amazing results compared to the quantity in the bottle.
The cheap price supports the amazing quality of the output.

Comments about Ernie Ball Guitar Polish And Cloth:

Does what it's suppose to and keeps the guitar looking clean and shiny. Simply spray and wipe. I've used a variety of other cleaners, scratch removers, and caranuba wax before and honestly it didn't do crap. I was so silly to think I could spend money on a magic bottle that'll restore the finish on my guitar just as new. Seriously don't believe into the hype of scratch removers. I've spent a lot of money on cleaners and finish restorers. Those products won't erase pick marks because your guitar's finish (assuming it's a decent guitar) isn't made of some cheap coating that can be "restored to new" by wiping some cream. The simplest product is usually the best, this is a prime example.

Comments about Ernie Ball Guitar Polish And Cloth:

Great product, comes with everything you need a larger fabric cloth which is huge. When I ordered this product id figure the cloth would be 6x6 inches but boy to my joy it was about 1ft by 1ft. This product does what it promised to do at a great price.
The quality of this product is good. The product does what is said it would and did it very well. I bought a used guitar with a few dings and the coat was about to start fading. This brought back the shine in that guitar and honestly I was a little bit nervous to play because I didnt want to hurt it.
This price for you guitar to look alot better. Thats a steal.
