After playing for too long to mention, I found these picks in the black heavy gauge. I've been using them for a couple of years and instead of wearing them out, I lose them before that. I can use them on both electric and acoustic and get the sounds I demand. If you want acoustic to play bright and clear you need a harder pick. If you want better control you need a harder pick. If you want to hold on to them with sweaty fingers you need a grip. If you want to strum, you can lighten your hold tension to let the pick "bounce" a little and still not lose your grip. There are only two picks I found that do this. These and the Dunlop hard same thickness.

I have always used plastic picks on my Taylor 110. It sounds much better; no much more to say. For <$5, next time you are checking out at MF, get some.

I got these picks to experimental as a beginner, and now as an experienced player, these were good for the time being. One thing to note, is that like any other nylon picks, they can get flimsy at times. otherwise, give these a chance, and you may like them!

The medium nylon(dark blue)is the best pick ever! Been using these since the nineties and they last months,a little shorter if you do alot of pickslides,pick gets dug into a bit. I have over a hundred of these babies! Well worth the buy! A+++++

I play a lot. I was breaking about 1 pick a day. Then I got these. I have beening using one for about a month now, and its not evan showing wear. I say get them.
