I enjoy playing Spanish Gypsy Guitar on my classicals. These picks work really well for me.
I have thumbs that measure 2 1/2" (65mm) in circumference. The mediums fit snug and stay on when things get fast and wild. For me and my style of playing the medium size was the correct size.
If you don't like the color, paint them. I took a white pick, sanded the logo off and covered it with silver glitter nail polish. A yellow one with gold glitter nail polish.
They now really have the "Gypsy Look". I even sprayed a few black.
I keep them in my hard shell case, my gig bag and a few around the studio.
I will purchase more.

Coming from someone who went from national thumb picks to Dunlops to these and now forever back to dunlops believe me when I say these are paper thin! They fit like a glove but the sound you get is so wimpy. I found out about them from one of my favorite artists, Ulli Boegershausen, and I have no idea how he plays with them, but they are not for me. Also playing with these will prevent you from doing some advanced techniques like a thumb pick "up stroke" frequently used by Antoine Dufour. Mainly these are not for me, but if you are looking for a thin thumb pick, these are for you.

Comments about Ernie Ball Thumb Picks:

Most thumb picks are thick and don't work well for strumming, I'd like to see these thinner yet.
I have used them for practice and so far they are great!

Comments about Ernie Ball Thumb Picks:

Out of the package these picks are durable and well made. The L size fit my thumb tightly. I am adult male with large hands. The thumb picks are
long, thick (0.037") and wide (about 1/2" wide and 1/2" long. I trim the sides with a hobby knife and sand the bottom with 200 grit, then 400, until I get 0.022"-0.025" at the tip. This makes the pick more flexible and fits my playing style much better.

Comments about Ernie Ball Thumb Picks:

These thumb picks work better than most for me however I am a female guitar player so the 'medium' playability and size fit my thumb very well. I can see that some one with large fingers or more aggressive playing style would have issues.

Comments about Ernie Ball Thumb Picks:

pick is thick enough to stay on good but flexible enough not to squeeze thumb until it throbs like some I've tried in the past.

Comments about Ernie Ball Thumb Picks:

Whenever I play traditional lead, any brand of flat-pick tends to squirrel around between my thumb and first finger, especially on triplets and fast runs. No more! These Clayton thumb-picks hang-on. They are not too heavy or too light and have improved my lead-work tremendously. I will definitely buy more.

I ordered the large size thumb picks, but, they were not large enough, so they aren't very usable for me.If you have normal size thumbs , they should be OK.

Comments about Ernie Ball Thumb Picks:

These are great thumb picks. I have used several other ones. I believe these are more comfortable then my dunlops, and look nicer, but my dunlops are tougher. I have a very aggressive playing style, so it's easy for me to break the tip of a thumbpick. If you have a gentler style, these should be fine.
                      Pretty good price.

Comments about Ernie Ball Thumb Picks:

These were so flimsy I did not even have to take them out of the pack to determine they would not be useful for my style of playing. These in my opinion are just too thin to bring out the sound of most stringed instruments. Similar to playing with a very thin pick for strumming.
