Comments about 2.5" Leather Strap ESP Shield Logo:

....i now own (since purchasing this particular strap) every esp strap (in this style). the balance, kinda "broken-in" feel, and logo'ing are the primary reasons, aside from matching the straps with my esp's, for purchasing/using these straps. the logos are well-inked, the "feel" is new, yet after wearing for a short period of time, they break in/conform rather quickly, the adjustment lengths are extremely versatile (from the standpoint of mounting your guitar comfortably high, or extremely low), and the width is perfect for esp eclipse/single cut style guitars, as they prevent too much movement/etc (headstock dipping, tipping while strumming/etc), while allowing ease of movement, simultaneously).
    buy it. 'nuff said.

Comments about 2.5" Leather Strap ESP Shield Logo:

I rated 2 stars because this strap is leather but has a "pleather" coating stitched over the actual leather that has the ESP Guitars and Basses graphic on it. This fake leather exterior has shown rub marks that reveals an ugly white base color underneath and is ruining my all black strap's look! It's a good thing I like a used, broken-in look but I'm just letting people know who read this review that the black synthethic pleather coating is not tough at all. Having said that, this strap feels heavy duty and it holds my EC1000T comfortably and I feel confident that it won't fail & let my expensive guitar fall. Ultimately I feel we are paying for the ESP brand name and for this much I think this strap could be 100% leather.

wide for comfort, I play a les paul so it gets a little heavy, the strap is a little stiff at first until it gets broke in I recommend using a leather conditioner to soften it up

Comments about 2.5" Leather Strap ESP Shield Logo:

This strap is longer (max of 60") than the usual leather straps (53") which is exactly why I wanted it. It makes my Epiphone Explorer hang at my waist (I'm 6'2) and that is just the most comfortable height for me to have my instrument in order to play.

The leather is smooth to the touch and feels like its made of good quality leather. It adheres well to the clothes so it avoids 90% of the nose-dive that fabric straps can't deal with.

It is quite adjustable, with two strap-button holes for either the full-blown 60" or 53" plus the "fine" adjustment on the back.

The only issue is that the holes are too small for Schaller Straplocks, dunno about other locking systems. However, after about 10 minutes doing an impromptu enlargement it handles the straplocks perfectly.

All in all, it's a solid strap. Definitely worth checking out if you want your instruments to hang a tad lower than 53" and if you don't bother doing some manual work, will gladly take any straplocks you wish to use.
