When I received my case, it didn't even survive the transit to my house. One of the latches was broken, no big deal. I installed two new pop rivets to repair the broken latch. The case only holds 230 regular jewel cased cds, not 300. After I repaired and loaded the case with my cds, the handle is about to pull out of the case. I will have to repair it soon. It is a wimpy case that will not survive long without modification. I would not recommend buying this case due to the weak design and poor construction.

Mine came without the keys to the locks, I was able to contact the manufacturer directly and they sent me a set right away. According to Procases this unit holds up to 244 CD's, not 300. It get's heavy, good thing there are wheels.

My usage: After feeding every CD in my library to my Mac, the collection now serves duty as backup. With this new role for my CD's, I needed a case for storage as now they will be sequestered to the garage.The PROS:For under $100.00 it still does swallow a lot of CD's in their respective jewel cases. Wheels make the weight, when loaded, manageable. Latches seem to be secure. Doesn't take up a large footprint in the garage. The CONS:Let's thank the good folks at Oddessy/Eurolite for attempting to poison US citizens with cheap Chinese goods made with caustic bonding agents! The first thing you'll notice about this case upon opening it, is it's knock you unconscious odor. I'll guess it's the adhesives used for the liner. I'm not kidding!! You need to load this thing in a VERY well ventilated area! After a 10 minute coughing fit, I proceeded to load my CD's. Both Oddessy/Eurolite & MF claim 300 CD's in their jewel cases. Let's be real now, we're talking single standard jewel cases. Long story short, and I mean SHORT! It holds EXACTLY 208 CD'sThat's 92 SHORT! Nice huh? In case you're counting, that's 52 CD's a row x 4 rows.The RATINGS:As you can see I have rated this thing poorly, but it still bears explanation.Features get docked because it does NOT hold what it claims to.Quality gets docked because it is cheaply made, and the odor is powerful.Value gets docked because of the previously mentioned issues.Overall rating gets a little love from me because at the end of the day it is holding half of my CD collection and therefore is doing its job, somewhat. As this case is purely for storage use, it's not likely I'll be interacting with it often, hence I won't need to buy a gas mask, but I still need another case to hold the rest!
