I love these strings! I use the C-tuning ones for when I play in B and I use the C# for playing in C. I tune them a half step lower than what they're made for just because they're a little tight for my taste when you've got them tuned to what they're supposed to be. Other than that, they're great, very bright and long lasting, and not too pricey either.

These are some heavy hitting strings! I put them on my Epiphone Les Paul Standard, and they sound wonderful. I've always had trouble with detuning (the strings always flop around), because its hard to find strings this thick. I usualy play in Drop C from D and these strings don't flop around. The thing is, they are just as easy to play in regular E tuning. I've been playing for about 4 years and these are some of the best strings I've had.

Great strings for down-tunning, work great on my les paul for B tunning (24.75" neck). perfect set!wish they had an even heavier guage for 25.5"neck in B tunning.

Looking at the other reviews on here I think that I may have just had a couple of bad sets, but I really wasn't too pleased with these strings. I play in B and I thought these would hold a lot tighter than they did. So instead of throwing them out I tuned to C# and they were decent. Also, I had a lot of trouble getting pinch harmonics out, and when I did they sounded thin and crappy. If these let you down, check out Dean Markley DT's 13-56.

I use these on my strat with graphite neck,and in d# tune. its surprizingly not too hard to get full bends ,the soloing is definitly heard,cuts through the drums and bass,wow.

I purchased these strings in April 2005, and these strings are the best by far of all the strings I have used for dropped-C tuning on my guitar. They stayed nice and tight with the low tuning, and required no re-adjusting on my guitar due to the thicker-than-normal-size strings on an electric guitar. I recommend these strings to the music stores in town where I buy products. There is no slack in the strings when played hard, and retain a beautiful- bright sound on the heavy-end sound.
