As stated in some of the other reviews, this product ONLY works if you have another device installed to prevent your trem from increasing pitch. My beef is you won't know that (unless you read these reviews) until you get the product and read the manual. It should state that in the product description. I have a full floating trem and that's what I want, not a half floating trem so, this doesn't work for me.
Again, this will work for you if you install a trem-setter first, or some similar device that will prevent the trem from increasing pitch, if not the other 5 strings will not stay in tune when you actuate the device. Mine will be sitting in the box somewhere collecting dust.

Comments about EVH D-Tuna Drop D Tuning System:
The EVH D-Tuna does what it says it does. It took me 5-10 minutes and everything was great. And yes, YOU MUST STABILIZE (BLOCK) THE TREMELO SYSTEM!! Remember, Eddie has his blocked, he designed it for him and now we have it. It is easy to use and it does WORK!! I am in the process of geeking out a Washburn guitar and this was step 2. Step 1 was....yep...blocking the Floyd Rose. Step 3 will be improving the tone control. But I digress. The D-Tuna works if you follow the directions to a 'T' and you should have no problems!!

Comments about EVH D-Tuna Drop D Tuning System:
It does exactly what it's designed to do. You may have to tweak it a little as your strings stretch out. It's installed worked perfectly on every standard floyd bridge I've used except the new style EBMM floyd. The D-Tuna seems to sit pretty close to the body of the tribute Axis. However, this is a design issue with the new style EBMM floyd, not the design of the D-Tuna.
*The following applies only to the new style EBMM floyd bridge: With a few adjustments you can get it to work properly. You must use the long screw provided in the kit. You must also back out the fine tuner screw out completely so the locking screw rests against the base plate instead of the fine tuner screw. I used needle nose pliers to back the screw out. Use a cloth to protect the fine tuner so you don't scratch or mar it. Work slow so you don't strip the threads out. Once that is done, install the D-Tuna like normal.
Drop D on a Floyd without unclamping....nothing else to explain.
Very solid and well built.
A little expensive in my opinion, but anything with EVH on it will be. It's the right tool for the job.

I have a Jackson guitar with double lock full float FR trem. Just cut and fit a small block of hard wood to block the trem. from raising the pich, And jaming the D-tuna into the guitar body. Atatche to tone block with Double Sided tape. Set up the D-tuna as per instructions. It works great and staies in tune too!
A little expensive for what you get in the box, But it works great.

I have had this product for a while on an EVH Charvel Art Series Guitar and LOVE IT!!!It is a breeze to switch back and forth I have not had any tuning problems from using it. I am going to get another-one and put in on my Custom Made Wyane Guitar(hand made by Wayne Charvel) ITS THAT GOOD!!!!
Comments about EVH D-Tuna Drop D Tuning System:
People just install a Hipshot tremsetter if you have a Floating trem. Works perfectly.
Comments about EVH D-Tuna Drop D Tuning System:
To the person who rated this only 1 out of 5 stars you need to do your research before you slag off a perfectly good product. The D-Tuna only works if you have a top mounted Floyd that lowers pitch only and rests on top of the body when not in use, also known as flush mounted. The D-Tuna will NOT work with a Floyd that is setup to float, that is why it didn't work on your PRS SE Torero. Its not the products fault, its your fault for not finding this out. It even tells you this in the product manual. If your Floyd is setup to float you'll first need to block it, something like a Tremol-No works well.I bought a D-Tuna for my EB/MM Axis and its perfect, easily goes from E to D or Eb to Db and back.
Comments about EVH D-Tuna Drop D Tuning System:
this does exactly what it is supposed to do if you follow the installation instructions. if your floyd rose is "floating", meaning you can pull up and down, then you need to install a trem stop of some type. if the floyd is blocked to only allow diving then you dont need a trem stop. i have these installed on a floating and a non floating floyd and they work great but you have to follow directions or you will end up going out of tune like the review below.
Comments about EVH D-Tuna Drop D Tuning System:
I own a prs se torero and i wanted to be able to drop tune on it without messing up the floyd rose. this thing claims that you can drop tune and go back to standard but it's not true. You can but it's a hassle getting this thing back and forth because each time you have to fine tune the other strings so in other words you're better off having a back up guitar. this system may work for eddie but he's got a guitar tech that's PAID to do this stuff I don't
