I've owned 4-5 of these things and keep coming back to them whenever one gives it up and collapses (break at the soldered joints). I'm not a particularly heavy guy (185lbs) but if you lean to one side or another, the strain is more than the legs and welded joints can handle. They are very handy and compact so I recommend them for gigs - just don't move about too much.
This is a must-have - period! Where my guitars go - it goes! When I 1st saw it on-line, I was a little sceptical about its quality and whether it would be sturdy enough. I'm still smiling from the time I sat on it - not to mention that my 12-String acts like it was made for it. You might think it a little pricey however, its convenience as a Chair-Stand combo is well worth it - BUY IT -you won't regret it! Also, don't forget to order the K&M Guitar Footrest to go with it - they're a perfect match together.
Pretty good stool, and a great idea. I have two for when we jam. It is nice to be able to sit the guitar down. Only problem is, it could use a bar inbetween the seat and the bottom bar to rest your foot on. I always have to prop my foot up to comfortably play. Other than that, nice item.
it's a good idea and it's made well enough.it's just too short!why ain't there a taller version?
I spotted these one day online, & had been looking for some stools for my buddy & I to sit on when we play out on some acoustic gigs. I bought 2 of them. Very Handy, plus now no need to also carry a guitar stand. Even works well at home in my studio. Some of our friends saw them & now I need to order 4 more for them. Would be nice if there was a place to prop your right foot up on,but I just put my foot up on the leg. Don't want to use the guitar holder, I think it may break or bend! Very lite, fold up flat, not much padding on seat, but have sat on it for 4hrs. & not to bad. Would recommend. Handy all in one solution.
