Don't get this. Bad idea. Horrible idea. Don't do it.
I got this stool because I wanted to use it at home to practice with. unfortunately, it doesn't do anything very well besides hold a guitar.
-The stool itself is uncomfortable after long periods of practice, (an hour or more) I find myself getting off of the stool to practice on my couch; which is very uncomfortable to practice in, so the point of actually being comfortable (God forbid) isn't met, here. I'm a pretty slim guy and can't even sit on the worthless thing because its too small!
-The stand works fine, but its not like I couldn't have saved myself money by buying an actual Guitar stand.
-This so-called "foot rest" is a cheap (I guess) wire? That digs into your shoe. Yes, I have to have shoes on to use it; even then, it's still uncomfortable.
This thing is hideous, and I'm afraid of breaking it.
Not worth it. You're wasting your time even looking at this product.

Comments about Farley's StagePlayer II - Guitarist Stool and Stand with Footrest:
Sometimes I use this as the manufacturer suggests, as a seat for performance. But most of the time I use this as a guitar stand next to the straight back chair that I sit in to practice. The seat makes a great catch-all for things like your picks, tuner, metronome or whatever. The height of it is just right to easily get the objects off the top and to rest the guitar from your seated position when it is time to get up.

Comments about Farley's StagePlayer II - Guitarist Stool and Stand with Footrest:
I've had this for three years with no problems until now. There will be no more problems. Right now it is a twisted mess of scrap on my front porch due to poor welds. Judging by my own experience tonight and after having read some of the other reviews, if you weigh in excess of 180lbs you should get rid of it before you get hurt. I'll see how I feel in the morning after cracking my head on a chair behind me and nearly wrecking my favorite guitar in my hands.

Perfect, multifunctional stool.
Comments about Farley's StagePlayer II - Guitarist Stool and Stand with Footrest:
My guitar room/studio is a tiny 9 X 13 feet, and so space is at a premium. I bought 3 of these mainly because I can fold them up to free up floor space when not in use, and in that vein the built-in stand also eliminates the need for (and clutter of) a separate guitar stand for each player. I also use one when playing solo; and even if I have to bring my amp, I can bungie cord this to my gig bag and still be able to carry everything I need in one trip.
Well constructed, space-efficient, light wieght and portable. I'm very happy with these stools!
It's a stool to park your butt on with a built-in folding guitar stand and foot rest. Very functional, but nothing real fancy. (My middle-aged rear end would maybe like a bit more padding on the seat, but I guess that's more a 'me' issue than a product deficiency!)
I think the question is going to be how they hold up over time. The guitar supports were slighty askew on mine, but were easily (very carefully) bent to proper alignment. Overall, they do seem to be well constructed.
While not particularly cheap, but you are getting a stool and a stand together, and their light weight and portability are a definite plus.

Comments about Farley's StagePlayer II - Guitarist Stool and Stand with Footrest:
We had 2 of these. They worked well. Just the right heigth. Had them for about a year when first one then the other broke under my weigth (200lbs).Both had faulty welds on the cross bars. Lucky I wasn't hurt when they broke and droped me on my butt.
