Comments about Fender 10" Vintage Alnico Blue Replacement Speaker:

I restored a 70's Super Reverb put it in a head cabinet with two 2 x 10 cabinets. I tried many speakers since used vintage ones were hard to come by. After being disappointed with many expensive speakers over six years. I remembered that the newer Fender amps I tried in these last six years had great speakers....so I put 2 Vintage 10" alnico blue with 2 Vintage 10" ceramic FENDER REPLACEMENT speakers.. a glorious match to the Super amp. I almost gave up and sold a wonderful amp but now I am really satisfied.

Comments about Fender 10" Vintage Alnico Blue Replacement Speaker:

dual purpose...good bottom end used as 4x10 for bass (bassman)
great as guitar speakers in 2x10 at either 4ohms wired for bottom end, or 16ohms wired for crankin'.
      better than jensen alnicos.

      Speaker replacement for Pro Jr

Comments about Fender 10" Vintage Alnico Blue Replacement Speaker:

Bought one of these to replace the stock speaker in a MIM Pro Junior. Tonally a warmer, more complex sound; but it did lose some of the Fender "chime". The power rating on these is a bit optimistic, as the speaker eventually blew in the little Fender. The Eminence Lil' Buddy looks to be what I'll replace it with - more power handling with hemp cone goodness.

Comments about Fender 10" Vintage Alnico Blue Replacement Speaker:

I use these in a vintage 4x10 and in a repro 1x10 tweed champ and they work magic in both amps..
This and the Weber alnico are the only new speakers that give you the authentic Fender tone
But you do have to break them in...they sond better after about 50 hours of play.
