      3 picks in one!

These large rounded triangle picks provide 3 edges to use. When one wears down, just switch sides. The wide body provides plenty of surface to hold and the rounded tip has a nice, smooth action. Choose thin, medium, or heavy.

Been searching for a comfortable pick and found it with the Fender thin. Getting older now so needed some help holding onto a pick.

Comments about Fender 346 Shell Guitar Pick:

I use D'Andrea Plec picks in a shape much like Fender's 346 shape for flat-picking fiddle tunes. They come, however, only in 1.5 mm thickness; I've been looking for some time for a pick with a similar shape that both had a good sound and was 1.0 mm thick to use for backing up fiddle players and singers. This pick fills the bill on both counts.

Comments about Fender 346 Shell Guitar Pick:

I have literally thousands of picks. I started collecting them years ago, and then decided to buy only celluloid. When I started playing guitar in my youth, I always used Fenders, especially the shell colored. Now I use these picks (heavy) exclusively. They stay in my hand, and seem to last forever, eventually rounding at the tips to make them better still. I use them for acoustic and electric guitar, as well as mandolin. They produce a tone that I can't get with any others. Maybe I'll find something that I like better, but I doubt it.

Comments about Fender 346 Shell Guitar Pick:

Guitar picks are pretty much a personal preference, this one is mine. I play acoustic country/bluegrass guitar with Phosphor Bronze strings and I like the action and sound with this particular pick in medium weight. Plus, I am not so inclined to drop this one as the smaller ones I used to use. :-)

I use these picks on two basses. I wanted that punch and "click" and these did the trick. They are also larger so I don't drop them or they won't pop out of my hand while playing.

Comments about Fender 346 Shell Guitar Pick:

I have been using these type of picks for years, I have noticed that the white ones wear quickly for my style of playing and these ones hold their own very well. The only reason I did not give it a full 10 rating is because one of the three dozen packages opened in transit and six of the twelve must of been scattered throughout the country on the way to my house. Not enough to demand replacement. Maybe order pullers could double verify the "pick packages" are sealed before shipment.
                      Durable
Much nicer than the White pick.
                      Worth the price.

A good and useful product for those that need it!
A good in-between size. I found the old triangular picks a little too big and the round backed picks too little. This one is just right!
Good Fender quality, these will last a long time.
                      The price is right!

                      Fender Rounded Triangle picks

                      By HappyStrat

                      from Sunnyvale, CA

Comments about Fender 346 Shell Guitar Pick:

I have tried just about every pick for sale in the standard teardrop and rounded triangle and some the jazz shapes. Including the whole range of thickness and synthetic materials. I play EB 10s on three American Deluxe Strats. I?m 6?4? with 37? sleeves and X-large hands so my playing configuration may be a little unique. The rounded triangle is by far the most comfortable for me. For my hands, anything smaller is too small to receive accurate feedback, control well and apply the power that is natural to me. (Darn, this revelation after try to pick like Hendrix for 2 years!). The Fender white and shell work very well for me. I prefer the shell because it is a bit more elastic (?snappy?) and less ?rubbery? that the white, allowing me to play faster with more string articulation. I get about 15 to 20 hours of practice/hard playing out of each pick. Yes, after about 5 hours a tip becomes misshaped, rough and speed and accuracy start drop suddenly, but I have not found any other material that lasts much longer. These picks allow me to get much closer to the music than any other, clean or distorted.
