These are really only good for using with strap locks. The buttons have hardly any flare at all and without a locking mechanism a strap could easily pop off. If you're like me and already have a drawer full of locking mechanisms, it's a great find.
These are the same buttons that come with strap locks. So if you're using one strap for several guitars or replacing a worn out button, you can save some cash buying these instead of the whole strap lock set.
I've used them for years. They do eventually wear down to the point that the strap no longer locks. In my case on my main gigging guitar, about 5 years.
It's an excellent value if all you need are strap lock buttons.

I got these for a used Fender Lead 2 that had no strap buttons on it. As this is a collector I want it correct, so I steped up to the plate and paid for genuine Fender parts U.S.A...Musicians Friend is the first place I look for guitars and accessories.
Bought them for the name for correct parts.
Finish is good and no burrs.
Could be at a lower price, but you are paying for the name.

The first set lasted more than ten years and held up to every conceivable condition that you can subject an instrument to and never failed once. A great product at a reasonable price. You can't go wrong here.
It's a button. There aren't any features really, but it serves it's purpose well.
I bought these to replace a set that I've had on my guitar for over ten years. I'd say they held up very nicely. Toured all over with them, played every weekend locally. They just got a bit worn so I got the new ones to prevent failure.
They are cheaper than a neck repair or touching up huge chips in paint from dropping your guitar so I'd say they are a great value. Cheap insurance.
