These Are Definitely Not For Mexican Strats

By Fuzzy John

from Howell, NJ

Comments about Fender Original Strat White Trem Arm Tips (2):

Mexican Strat trem arms are slightly thicker than the Americans.I read the other review about heating it up and applying force. I did so with boiling water and I was able to get it almost in position. There is a little less than 1/8" of the knurled portion on the trem arm showing. No mater how long I cooked it and how much (resonable) force I used, I could not get it all the way down.It is there now and I'll see how happy I will be with the extra length and with the knurled portion showing. I'll probably end up getting an assembled trem arm with white tip for mexican strats. You can feel some rough areas probably from the injection mold.

A Tip To Put These On!!

By PRS/Marshallfanatic

from Chicopee Ma.

Comments about Fender Original Strat White Trem Arm Tips (2):

I had to buy some to finish a strat I had awhile ago.If you put the tip in some boiling hot water for a few seconds it will soften up enough so to strech out and go on the end of the wiggle stick. But Be Careful not to over heat or to get to rough with it as to deform it. When it cools down it's there for good. Good Luck. :0)
