I like a heavier string and a mellower tone. These fit the bill.

Comments about Fender Phosphor Bronze Mandolin Strings - Light:

I bought these light strings specifically for a vintage mandolin. They were easy to string up and have great tone. I have bought Fender strings in the past and always get good consistent quality.

Comments about Fender Phosphor Bronze Mandolin Strings - Light:

I have used Martin Bluegrass, and D'addario which are good. These Fender strings have held tune and were easy to setup and continue to sound great after three weeks of playing in church and nursing homes. My Montana mandolin sounds like it did when I bought it in 2008.
