      Comments about Fender Replacement Vintage Strap Buttons:

      The buttons themselves are excellent value, but the screws provided are cheap and prone to break. A pilot hole to prevent the wood from cracking is not enough. The hole has to be the same size as the screw or you risk it breaking off. So if you feel you have to use the cheap screws provided, drill a big hole and use glue. I suggest a quick run to the hardware store to get screws that are the same quality as the buttons.

      These are the best strap buttons available on the market. I've been a musician for 20+ years and I've never seen any strap buttons that even come close to the quality of these!
