The end of all tuning problems!

Brushed-finish Fender Schaller Locking Tuners provide solid tuning stability by clamping the cut end of the string with a hand-tightened lock screw. There's no play in the string and you tune normally. A great way around locking nut systems that don't allow tuning on the fly. Highest quality manufacture, Schaller Locking Tuners are the same tuners used on Fender American Deluxe Series guitars.

Features

  • Brushed finish
  • Super-high quality
  • Great tuning stability
  • Tune on the fly
  • Same as on Fender's American Deluxe Series

Tuning nightmares? End them forever with genuine Schaller quality.

Bought me a set of these for my 2000 MIM Strat, after reading all the rave reviews. It seems i have gotten a bum set. While they looked great and installation was a breeze,i noticed after installing them there were 2 different size post on them. 3 of one size and 3 of another. I also noticed after tightening them up there was no way the strings were gonna completely clear the nuts as the string holes were barely exposed. I discovered these locking tuners would not work on MIM Strats. I read several of the reviews concerning MIM Strats and they were all good. What gives?

My Kramer Pacer is not equipped with a Floyd Rose, and at the time I was looking for something a little more in my budget to add to my guitar, in hopes that the tuning would stabilize. I went to my local music store and I looked at these. I was kinda doubtful at first, but I took a risk and picked them up anyway. I took them home and opened them up to find that there were two little metal rods on each individual tuner, that requires small holes on the back of the guitar. Well, I don't really care how my guitar looks as long as it does what I want it to. So I took out a drill and put the holes there. After getting the tuners bolted onto the neck, I strung up the guitar with EVH strings and locked the tuners in place. As usual, the strings needed to be stretched out, but as soon as the strings were broken in, the tuners did their job. I also put a Planet Waves Lubrikit on it to just put oil on the spots of friction, up and down the neck and guitar. Well, after the strings have been worn in, the tuners have been amazing. My guitar stays in tune all the time now, except for once in a blue moon when I will just abuse the whammy bar. If you have a guitar that is coming out of tune and you don't have a whammy bar, pick these up and your problems will be solved. If you have a guitar with a whammy bar and it comes out of tune, put some of these on your guitar if you know how to use the whammy bar. If you don't know how to use the whammy bar properly, you should probably look into buying a Floyd Rose.

These tuners are one portion of an upgrade on a Squire Black & Chrome series HSS. I also own a Fender American Deluxe HSS which has these tuners and is how I am familiar with them.  I've found them to work exceptionally well for maintaining proper tuning during extensive play.

All my Fenders have em. Especially if your an avid whammy bar enthusiast, considering it didn't taken off and thrown in a box for the life of your Fender. I can use my tremolo bar all I want and not have to retune between songs. Not to mention the overall convenience of being able to change a string on the fly in minimal amount of time. I agree with Old Mr. Gibson... if you don't prefer these to standard tuners, you don't play enough.

to "no real improvement"; you expect us to believe you own these AND you played "PRO" but you were lead to think once tuned-up, no retune until the next restring? Ha ha, These tuners are GREAT all around! That whole review is fake or supposed to be a joke! All my fenders have these on them.
