I got this for my Squier Jagmaster because it wouldnt fit the case I already had, and I couldnt afford a fender jazzmaster case. It is good enough. It works, nothing special.
I bought this gig bag for my Fender Cyclone. It's a snug fit, but it works. I was looking forward to the shoulder straps to carry around my guitar easier, but they're uncomfortable to wear because of the hard plastic locking loops. Other than the straps, I have no issues with it. Overall, it's an okay case. It's well padded, lightweight and has so far been durable.
Its ok, not great. I have 3 of them. all of which came with my guitars/basses. The parts for the shoulder strap are plastic and break very easily. this causes your guitar or in my case, bass to smash into the ground when you least expect it. so I fixed it with a zip tie, then 2 weeks later the top plastic part broke, my bass just fell over this time, no damage was done. the padding is average. if you bump into something like a door or hard surface, you'll hear your guitar hit the surface. also the bottom strap mount on your guitar will quickly wear a hole through the case. the front pocket holds enough. wont hold your music, but it'll hold your patchcord and strap. also tuners and capo's
I can't imagine why they made the neck part of this bag so wide. I have a Squire Strat and i could fit 3 necks in here. There's also an extra 4 inches of height and 4 inches of width for the body of the strat. A couple inches would be plenty.Other than fit, no complaints. Good for beginners.
This bag is an ok bag to keep your guitar safe from average dings, bings and bongs.I too got this for free with my Standard MIM Telecaster, I can feel it a bit loose when I go places with it.I don't know if its just me, but my Telecaster is approx. 9.5lbs, and the shoulder straps aren't adequate at all, painful if worn too long, replace'em ASAP.But overall its just an ok bag.
This is the gig bag Fender is giving away with their new mexi guitars. For that, it's not bad at all, but as a stand alone product, it's not a good value compared to what else is out there. Thin foam, lose fit, cheap straps, virtually no usable pocket space...none of these things are necessarily bad to someone who needs something low-cost to keep their guitar from getting scratched in the closet, but there are better values out there for the price.
This is a great bag, but I recomend duct taping all the clasps and moving parts, because the do suddenly pop off. Other then that it's a nice bag
