Resembles Wilkerson capo

Comments about Fender Standard Smart Capo:

This capo bears a strong resemblance to the Wilkerson capo, whch is no longer available. If these work the same as the Wilkerson, they work very well on Strats and Teles. I just recently misplaced the Wilkerson capo I had for years and am looking for a replacement. The Fender capo is priced way above others however, including the original Wilkerson, so I guess I will hope to find something simlar at a more reasonable price.

Not Confident in Product Reliability

Comments about Fender Standard Smart Capo:

I purchased this capo hoping that I could find a capo with less 'squeeze' on the fingerboard. I play a strat, and I have been using the standard Kyser capo in the past. This fender capo seems to have a clever design, but I have NO confidence in it...I always worry that it will let loose on its own when I'm in the middle of a song (what an absolute nightmare that would be). I'm also not fully convinced that it's a "one-handed" operation (personally, I'd rather practice my guitar than practice using putting a capo on). I have quit using this fender capo and gone back to the simply designed, Kyser capo.
