Was kind of worried at first when I received the cable and noticed the molded ends. But in retrospect I've never had a cable that eventually didn't break and need soldering. Once you have to solder them they're never the same anyway. If you play electric you will always have to buy cables. Good cable , good price.

I've been playing for 38 years and spent 3 years in a cable manufacturing company and I have never seen a cable break so easily. The copper wire actually broke next to the plug on both end of 2 cables, and the plugs are sealed so you can?t re-solder them. The lifetime warranty is worthless, so I had to buy new plugs and fix it my self. But the cable keeps breaking and finally broke in the middle. I?ve had better luck with cheap molded cables.

I ordered two 12 foot cables. When they arrived, the first thing I noticed is that they are rather stiff, and they are not repairable. I plugged the first of the two in and after playing for about 30 minutes sitting down, I noticed that if the connector end of the cable is jiggles the signal cuts out. Cable was bad right out of the bag. The other one works OK, but other than having some metal on the connectors, it does not seem to be much higher quality than the cheapest of the cheap cables that might come with a first act guitar or something. I can't really say I'd recommend these to anyone. The other Fender cables I have that came with my Fender guitars are pretty good and have lasted many years so I am surprised these were so awful.
