It's simply WD40 for your guitar strings. Even the smell is as unique as the smell of WD40. If I don't have a can of finger-ease it with me, it's almost as bad as not having a guitar pick with me. If you're not using it yet, just buy it now. You're going to end up using it eventually. But use it discretely at practice. or your bandmates will bum it off you forever.
Makes it easier to play & makes the strings last a little bit longer.
Hasn't changed in the 40 years I've been using it.
Even the can is identical!
Can't beat this price.

Based on all the glowing reviews, I purchased a can of this wonder lubricant. After using it for a while, I can't understand why everyone loves this stuff. The strings and neck are indeed slippery after it is applied. But after about five minutes of playing it seems like it wears off and the benefit disappears. Additionally, everything I've about guitar strings emphasizes keeping strings clean. If so, they why would you want to spray some gunk over them? I suspect is would eventually soak into the fingerboard too. To its credit, it does smell good.

Comments about Fingerease Guitar String Lubricant:
This is without a doubt the best string lubricant. I have been using this lube since I was a kid and it has never let me down. It goes on easy and it works well throughout an entire practice session, show or recording session. Really helps in making smooth movements across the fretboard and strings. Besides if you have ever seen Jimi Hendrix's Isle of Wight concert you can see him sparying it on to his guitar! Freaking Awesome!

Comments about Fingerease Guitar String Lubricant:
There is no real substitute for a thorough cleaning of your strings after playing but if you should find yourself in a long live set where there is no time to sit there and clean your strings and your strings and fretboard are starting to get a bit gummy this is a great quick fix. I've kept a can of this in my bag of tricks for a long time. It works well and gets the job done.

Comments about Fingerease Guitar String Lubricant:
I continue to use this Finger Ease spray cause it works. Unwound strings can be very dry and this stuff does the trick. I never play live without it.
Use your fretting hand to spray to avoid the lube getting on your pick holding fingers.

Comments about Fingerease Guitar String Lubricant:
Been using this for over at least 15 years. Just spray on wait a few minutes and your good to go. Great on acoustics to stop the squeeking when recording. Lubes and cleans fretboards and cleans strings very well. I have tried fast fret while it is ok, I dont like the lint that it leaves on the strings. If you havent tried this you are missing out. I keep a can in every case. Just my 2 cents worth... Give it a try.

Comments about Fingerease Guitar String Lubricant:
A must for those gigs or practices where no matter what you do, your fingers are sticky and the neck is like tarpaper! I ran out of this Finger Ease a few months back thinking I didn't need it until that last gig, now that I have it back I'll never run out again.

Comments about Fingerease Guitar String Lubricant:
The neck of my 3/4 stand up bass gets super sticky when I play. I was suggested this stuff to try and relieve my problem. It did make my strings a little bit more slick, but the neck was still the same. I play two steel and two gut strings, the good part is the spray had no effect on the sound of the strings.
Comments about Fingerease Guitar String Lubricant:
i like how smooth it makes the fretboard and strings
good stuff
