Does what it should!

Features:

Feature wise it should do three things, fold up neatly, unfold easily and quickly, and lastly hold my guitar(s). It does all of these.

Quality:

Solid construction, nice foam padding, good joints where it pivots. Feels solid.

Value:

Inexpensive, good stand, not much to argue about.

Overall:

Works with my Schecter Custom 4 bass and my Fender Jazz. My old Fender stand couldn't reliably hold my Jazz without me setting it down carefully to make sure it wouldn't fall over. It's not an issue anymore. There's enough friction from the foam to keep it held well.

Features:

Folds up completely into a small, easily transportable size, easy to carry. The bottom two instrument rests also fold up next to the stand, very nicely.

Quality:

Made from steel tubing, not plastic. All moveable parts function firmly and smoothly. Well designed for ease of use.

Value:

Very functional, with features I would not expect on a stand at this price. You can't go wrong, for the money.

Overall:

Impressive, functional stand, which is easy to set up and sturdy when in use. It holds my Strat well, and my electric bass, just be careful where your plug comes out of the body when you set it in the stand. The plug on my Peavey bass lines up perfectly with the bottom instrument rest, so I have to shift it slightly to one side, but it still holds the guitar firmly.I can also adjust it to hold my mandolin, with the neck resting against the upper instrument support.I will be purchasing another one of these in the near future.

NICE PORTABLE STAND

Features:

Nice folding for compact travel to and from practice and home use.

Light weight design.

Nice padding.

Great price.

Quality:

Light weight does not always mean cheap, however I can see where this may be an issue in the future if not handled right or stored correctly.

Value:

Got mine on SALE.  Great Value.

Overall:

I really like this because it is portable and lightweight.  It does a great job of holding my SG, however, you must be careful near it because of the design, a "bump" into may be a costly one.  Great for home studio and practice. A great alternative to the traditional style and this one does not bother Nitrocellular finishes.

Features:

I didnt get mine online and I remember thinking I must've been driving the music stores sales staff nuts as I tried out literally EVERY portable stand they had & ended up finally choosing this one.

I wanted something that could hold the awkward bottom curvature of a Jazz Bass steadily(which ironically I feel this does better than Fender's won portable, fold-up stand!).  I wanted something that could also fold up as compact as possible tofit in most gig bags without taking up a ton of room.  The fact that it had good padded bumpers to protect the instrument helped too.

I think it took me a couple of times to get used the best way to set the instrument in it so it was the most stable.

Quality:

A couple of months after I got it, A keyboard player traversing the stage stepped on it the wrong way & ended up bending one of the legs so that it doesnt line up the way it used to but it still works fine.

I'm still using it as my main on-stage stand (it's at LEAST 3-4 years old).  That in itself should say something as I'm pretty picky with gear.  I work a lot & cant afford to waste a lot of time, space or effort lugging around stuff that doesnt do the job & then some.

Value:

I'm very pleased.  I'd get another in a heart beat.  I think they make one with wider legs for acoustics too.

Overall:

Does the job, folds up small.  Last a long time.  What more could you ask for.  Sure someone can knock over your instrument if they walk into it(just like with any other stand) but for those situations where you dont want to lean your axe on your amp or cant put it back in the case between sets, this is the stand for you.  Especially if you dont want a lot of extra stuff to carry.
