Comments about Fulltone GS15-AS 15' Gold Standard Angled-Straight Instrument Cable:

Have used many cables in my years: the high end Monsters, Mogami, many others. The Fulltone cables when A/B'd directly with many other high quality expensive cables are louder, clearer without sounding sterile, more robust and just plain better sounding. For the price they are asking it is simply unbelievable. Construction is fantastic. The cable itself is thicker than Mogami, but slightly thinner than Monster. They do not tangle. The ends are a cool sleek understated black chrome that looks very very nice. Fulltone used different ends on the older cables than the Neutrik ends they are using now. There is info on the internet that some of them failed, but keep that in context: they are the OLDER ones. I had 4 of the older cables that I have been using almost daily since 2006 (have gigged & toured with them - alot) and finally ONE of those older ends gave way this past fall of 2010 (a really great run if you ask me). There is a lifetime warranty so I sent it back & received one of the brand new cables (with the new Neutrik ends). Sweet! I absolutely love these cables & have recommended them to many students & players who all concur. The bottom line is first & foremost, they sound amazing. If you think cables don't affect your sound buy one of these & A/B it with whatever cable you are using. You will hear immediately that it was designed by a guitar player (and a good one at that - Mike Fuller) rather than simply an electronics guy. Construction absolutely top notch, they look great, and the price is astounding. For the money, and even for significantly more, there is nothing that touches em in my humble opinion.
